This should end the " Colorado players can't get in " BS, if you play in the majors, and put up the numbers, you deserve to go in the HOF
Yes, Helton! Don't condescend Colorado. We are humble enough to receive those accusations of the high altitude field. But those accusations are not true because we never won the World Series with that beautiful high-altitude field. Stop complaining but love them. Proven.
Pumped for Todd! Congratulations, Well Deserved.
If you're going to penalize every Rockie player for the HOF, you should also penalize every one of their NL West opponent players. They play there a bunch as well.
Congratz Todd!
Congratulations Todd Helton for a well deserved Hall of Fame nomination. Helton had great numbers on the road, so to claim playing at Coors is why he was great, is bull. DJ LeMahieu won a batting title for the Yankees after leaving Colorado.
Pitchers are never questioned when they pitch in a pitchers park, so why question a hitter who plays in a hitters park, expecially when that player has great road numbers....
Helton only lead Beltran in batting avg , Beltran have more hits ,RBI , HR ,Runs ,more all Star with nine and rookie of the year..A bunch of hyprocrites in Cooperstown .
Coors factor is super interesting topic and I'm glad it has expanded beyond..."he wouldn't have been good outside Coors"
Loved watching Helton play. But to see both him and Mauer get in and to have Jim Edmonds not even eligible anymore is just insanity.
His glove on first was as close to a sure thing as possible, and he was a batter who could fight you a dozen pitches with his quick hands but end it in a double down the gap. Congrats Todd, well deserved.
My issue is his stats ain't as good as Gary Sheffield
The fact that all they had to go on to keep Todd Helton out of the Hall was the altitude of Denver…
Nobody talks about the altitude when we lose.
Mr. Rockie!
Todd Helton no MVP no 3000 hits no 400 plus home runs he is Not a Hall of Famer!!!!!!!!!!!!
He should have won MVP over Jeff Kent. Consistently 30-40% better then the rest of the league for at least 10 years, easy HOF'er.
@@naftulzvi3353I mean yeah he would have probably won the MVP that year by modern standards …led the league in WAR that year among other things
Also there’s no telling how many MVP’s Bonds would have if the voters had the ability to look at advanced stats
@@SWWonders Main difference is that Bonds forfeited his HOF chances for accolades and money.
