    That bench warrant hit him between the eyes and brought some sanity to the situation for awhile. They all handled his nonsence very professionaly but can bet it will all be on again when he comes back.Cheers

    I’m blown away that a felon carrying a firearm would get off so easy and get probation. This is why he will do it again.

      Locking people away for long prison sentences doesn't do anything to lower recidivism. In fact we have some of the longest average prison sentences and the highest rate of recidivism in the world.

    OMG I'm in love w that prosecutor! He is doing a fantastic job. He's being very fair & helpful to the defendant. Answers all his questions professionally. The defendant has been offered an incredible deal & is too stupid to understand this.

      I disagree. I think this guy makes Delete Lawz look like Clarence Darrow. 🙄
      If that weren't an obvious institutional setting behind him, I'd be wondering how many precourt bong hits he'd had. Since it is, I can only conclude it comes naturally.
      Of course, that just might be his actual home, with those bare white walls and window bars and whiteboard and camera ... but then that would suggest something else. I'm not sure exactly what, but whatever it is, it's not inspiring.

    The only thing that frustrates me about the way they handled this dweeb is that as soon as he denied being the defendant and the judge announced that she was therefore issuing a bench warrant, I'd like to have seen her say that the-guy-who-totally-isn't-Weems had no right to be in the court as he wasn't the defendant, and then throw him the hell out. :D

    This Danner guy is a STAND UP PROFESSIONAL. Wow! I’m really impressed. He coulda went badass on this defendant and would have been justified but he was extraordinarily merciful. He’s a good man.

    ps, right at this minute on Thursday afternoon there is an interesting case in 3-B. An attorney we've seen before telling the judge she's never tried a death involved case. It'd be legally interesting to follow it through to conclusion.
    P.p.s. at the tail end of the 3-B last pretty trials on May 5, Judge Middleton tells a pretty awesome story about criminal line-ups.

    The prosecutor really understood how this guy has been led astray, and saw that he realized he was led astray, and worked to educate him in good faith, despite having no obligation to have that candor - applause to him

      Led astray? He is a friggin thug felon with guns driving illegally. I guess he just lost his way a tad.......... When he kills someone will you be so surprised? And then willing to grant probation on a murder charge? No white boy would ever get such a deal. Everybody is so scared of blacks now, they do not want to upset the ACLU and have a lawsuit they cant win no matter the situation.

      This defendant didn't realize he was led astray. He was being coached. That's why he came back at the end with the jurisdiction question.

    Hi Mike....21 years ago my ex had a well respected attorney and sued me for primary custody of our 5 yr old son....I had no education besides a GED and no money.... I filed my answer and represented my self ....I was awarded increased child support and retained custody of my s9n

    When the Judge asked if Mr Angelo Gabriel Weems for a second try is present he hesitated and said his named as if he was doing the Court a favor by giving is name.
    The Judge and Processacuter in this case are the best I've seen to date not allowing any pomp and circumstance.

    I loved this one, just when you think it's a done deal, he starts spewing sov-cit garbage. It had me cracking up. I also was very impressed with Danner who from the previous case I decided I didn't like, but he redeemed himself with this one.

    I honestly think he learned his lesson here. That he sees the utter trainwreck that being a fake-moor would have on his life. He was given a pretty good deal here to avoid most of the counts, and avoid jail time. If he stayed with the moor shtick he would find his way quickly to prison.

    He did seemed to be much more civil and polite in that second appearance. Most sov-cits get really excited and aggressive but this guy stayed level headed in the second hearing.

    A sovereign citizen is like a person who was having difficulty in a video game, and finds a cheat code online, but then finds that the cheat code doesn't work.
    I feel sorry for this guy. He's a pitiable guy. He seems like he's trying so hard to apply something that he doesn't understand, which is incorrect.

    I love that - you sent me two pages and I understand none of it.
    Would be nice pf the judge to add a list of her years in law school, then bar exam, then as a lawyer, then as a judge, so is very well versed in the laws of the state and country. But still cannot understand what he sent so what should that tell him?
    But these SovCits don't listen.
