Hey guys, yeah Suicidal Angels have been around for 17+ years now with their debut coming out in 2007 at the height of the neo-retro-thrash revival. The album that this song is off of is their brand new 2024, and 8th studio release, "Profane Prayer." I've been a fan of the band since their 3rd album "Dead Again" from 2010 when they kinda got their international recognition. To me, they're like a new Slayer but with a better vocalist. No joke. Tom Araya may have driven Slayer, but his vocals were mediocre at best. Nick Melisscourgos of Suicidal Angels does a better Tom Araya than Tom Araya. And by that I mean, his vocals actually fit the music rather than them just being there like Tom's is. Go listen to the song "Beggars of Scorn" off of Dead Again, and you'd think it's a song off Seasons of the Abyss.😮

Great reaction guys!!..Lots of energy..Those energy drinks look like they are working well..lol I'm with Kyle I get hooked more into the music side then the actual meaning/lyrics of the song..I find myself just going off headbanging and air guitaring/drumming to the music... It's great to have Alanna to give her thoughts and analyze that side of songs...The band itself was formed in 2001 in Athens and this song is a single from their upcoming new album out March 1!! 🤘

The lead guitarist Gus Drax the guy with red guitar is one of the best guitarists ( my opinion) in the last 10- 15 years at least the same underrated, i can recommend the video Gus Drax - Siggi Brawn Little Crow 20th ( Beyond the darkest sun song). This is instrumental from his previous band Sunburst . If you write the same what I wrote should be showing and you can enjoy his playing. He is an absolutely phenomenal guitarist.
