Three days in Paris is my mum's favourite film! Mine too. Well, it is now. Come to think of it, I have to watch it sometime. There he is. That's Rick Spleen. That's what a British sitcom hero is supposed to be like: wickedly, cruelly funny, and an absolute narcissistic liar. Great stuff.
Rick is like a snowball rolling downhill !! no stopping the calamities and bystanders laughing at him all the way!!! very funny series with perfect characters throughout..
If ever they make further episodes of one foot in the grave jack dee would be just brilliant.....love Lead Balloon...whole cast is perfect...and it’s just so FUNNY...
I respectfully disagree but I see where you're coming from. Both Victor and Jack are grumpy and often get the short end of the stick, however, Jack is selfish and weak where as Victor was sensitive (as Margaret put it) and when he'd speak out it was often for a good cause e.g. the episode where he decides to take revenge on a litter bug!
Me too! This became a possible issue when I married an American, over there sport is more important than religion and politics put together. And they're REALLY keen on religion and politics...
Mrs Richards: "I paid for a room with a view !" Basil: (pointing to the lovely view) "That is Torquay, Madam ." Mrs Richards: "It's not good enough!" Basil: "May I ask what you were expecting to see out of a Torquay hotel bedroom window ? Sydney Opera House, perhaps? the Hanging Gardens of Babylon? Herds of wildebeest sweeping majestically across the plains?..." Mrs Richards: "Don't be silly! I expect to be able to see the sea!" Basil: "You can see the sea, it's over there between the land and the sky." Mrs Richards: "I'm not satisfied. But I shall stay. But I expect a reduction." Basil: "Why?! Because Krakatoa's not erupting at the moment ?"

I have watched them so many times still amazing
This show is amazing seen them all so many times
Believe it or not but there are plenty of people exactly like Rick and they're going through life just perfectly fine.
My God Rick 🤣. Why? Every time!
25:13 michaels second nose bleed🤣🤣🤣⚰️
People give me that same look when I tell them I have no interest in sport whatsoever...I also return that same look...gotta laugh at them!
Me too lol

@@clearwoodcouk Mmm. Amazing how delirious they get over their "modified" sports that the rest of the world plays in the original formats.
Did Micheal not consider making the hummus himself
Dave Driver- real name, I know one.
That closing scene was just brilliant.....and all too sadly these days.....so very true of the shysters out there. Take care folks!
@17:09
The E is very obviously missing. I thought it'd be part of the joke-like, Rick'd say she misspelt her name cos of the stroke- but nope.
Rick has me squirming in my seat so often, thank goodness for Raquel Cassidy...
Larry David would be proud. Great re-make and I mean that; why not to an english version. They do it to us!!
He always shoots him self in the foot
It's a brilliant series, but I get so embarrassed on Jack's behalf
:-\
Will you post the rest ?
Rose Nowack no
tom h and how do you know that ?
How many ads ruined this great show !
It's amazing how almost all the characters, even the non-regular ones, are selfish and unlikable.
A lazy Manc sparks. FFS
