Tony Kerr
Tony Kerr
Tony Kerr is tops on this sad song.
Love this version !! The best
I like that this version its been covered by 3 or 4 other people. This one is a little more Rocken for a lack of a better way of putting it then the others. But Frankie Ballard did a good job putting his own spin on the song. I already own the Gary Allen version which was the first one I heard. I may have to purchase this once I have a paycheck coming In again.👍🏻
Back to country roots.
Love this song

Nice Work.
Good song.
This is the best shit on youtube
Gary Allan did this song about ten years ago. Look it up awsome version.
I love this version. Has something the Gary Allan version doesn't have.
' Don't Tell mama I was drinking' that line reminds me of a gospel song that I heard years ago. does anybody know which one I'm talking about? I can't for the life think of the name of it. B
y the way Frankie, great work :-)
I'm thinking of a gospel song that I used to sing in church but I was a little kid. Same to me but not the same words.

nice slide guitar Eddie!
I found him lay.n in grass...I lived this...
i prefer the gary allan version mostly because it i
has a slower pace and seems more meaningful
Thanks, I knew I had heard it somewhere before. This guy does a great job, too.
Doug stone was the first to record it I think
@@jdimpact8454 youre correct
@@zickiezickie Same as you
Actually Ty Herndon did it back in 96, and someone else nay have done it before that. Gary Allen did it in 99 Doug Stone did it in 07. Regardless of who did the song first Frankie Ballard did a good job with it. His version is a little more roken though for lack of a better way of putting it. But I like his spin on the song.
I liked the Ty Herndon version best, I think. Although I love Gary Allen. This is good, different, but good.
Wooh I live on hwy5
I love you big bro 1987-2016 please don't make the same mistake as my brother alcohol and motorcycles do not mix but I got Jadyn not a day goes by that he doesn't ask for uncle duc
Dawson munday sorry for your loss 😔
I meant ty herndon
I'll get a tatoo like his,don't see the top,so I'll figure mine..lord or mr.god,i,m a new fan,a new man
I don't think this song was meant to be so upbeat.
Jmarcum1 indeed
Yeah gary Allan did this song better it should be serious
Best version is tht of Philomena Begley.
This is not a good version of this song, much too fast! The original one almost bring me to tears every time. This one is too upbeat!
:(
Good, but i like Garry Allen's and the Grascals version better. this is a dark and sad song and they sing it with the right tone. this version is too upbeat and doesn't quite fit.
I actually prefer this version because the others are too country for my liking.
Never thought a country song could be "too country" This is what modern country has come to. Hank would turn in his grave
I consider this more of a rock country or a new genre of new country. Which is in fact much better than most dry old country. Besides anything coming out of bob dylan or cash
bmaster461603 So sad. Too country? Are you dumb?
@@jonathandaniel6838 Brad Paisley's "Too Country" comes to mind reading his comment. I'll take all the greats over the new folks. Thank God for Spotify because I don't have to suffer with all the pop-country-rap stations that are on. I'll take Gary's version because it's supposed to sound country.

Another version I love better.Tony Kerr. Version.
You should be ashamed of yourself ruining a great song like this. You simple dont remove the steel guitar from a country tune
