To the extent I can considering I’ve never been in the same situation, I understand day 1 of the draft was disappointing for Cooper. He’s clearly an elite talent who fell *wayyyyy* too far in the draft. The fact he was still sitting there on day 2 was ridiculous. Having said that… He’s still relatively new to the area. So I don’t know if he totally knows it yet, but he (along with Q) is going to *own* this city. Not exaggerating at all. I know that may seem like a presumptuous thing to say. But I promise you it’s not. So while it really sucked for him personally he was still there on day 2, I guarantee you 10 to 15 years from now he will look back and realize it was one of the best things that ever happened to him. Take that to the bank.
