    Dizzy was a good musician:
    recording artist, performer, collaborator, director, innovator, traveling minstrel...
    and one of the best trumpeters ever :D

      I like this kind of jazz, with a little more movement. What genre is this, can someone help me? Can anyone suggest more singers who play songs like this and sing?

      @@Laureentito me it sounds like jazz with a touch of funk. A great jazz trumpeter-singer I highly recommend to listen to is the legendary Louis Armstrong.

    Yo me doy gusto... Dizzy Gillespie 🎺 tuvo su incursión en estilo moderno de los 70' con 'UNICORN' onda funky con latin... Para uno de los fundadores del Bebop de los 40' junto a Charlie Parker 🎷, Max Roach 🥁, fue bastante modernizado lo que presentó... Una terapia para el guitarrista rítmico es esto; una delicia sentir tanta paz... Con sabor ❤🕺💃

      "Manejando ahí va manejando" de Gerardo Mejía 🇪🇨 no sé si tomó un poco de esto... Si fue así , tenga su 'shungo', cuore, coracąo, heart❤... Creo más bien fue el You Make Me Feel Like Dancing de Leo Sayer... Pero Unicorn y Like Dancing tienen algo común

    I guess Lalo and Dizzy were going to try and cash in on the waning dance craze. As much as I love seeing Dizzy live, the original studio version has more punch. It's a cool groove that screams "play me over and over in a disco!"

    • @alext2566
      @alext2566 2 роки тому +5

      It's not an intended effect. Older cameras had sensors sensitive to bright light, resulting in a short term "burn in" effect on film. It's more noticeable with high contrast recordings like this one.
