Probably you could. You would be surprised about the few ingredients you actually need to make a tasty dish of pasta. You don't need any cheese, cream, spices, meat or whatever. Trust an italian 😉
So many ingredients in these recipes that i got confused at one point. Everyone is totally free to eat whatever they want the way they want of course, but don't think you need to buy the whole supermarket just to cook a dish of pasta 😆 sometimes, less is more

Here's another one for you. Cook the noodles ( l usually penne ), for the sauce use butter, mushrooms and l use Albanian sausage cause it's spicy ( summer beef sausage or other kinds of meat too can be used ) salt and pepper. Once the mushrooms and sausage is done add double cream ( heavy whipping cream ) and mozzarella cheese. Stirr good and add the noodles. It can be used with canned mushrooms too. Easy, fast and tasty .

pasta, guanciale, eggs, pepper, pecorino.
USA shit "Carbonara":
Oil, butter, shallot, garlic, thyme mushrooms, lardons, overcooked pasta, mascarpone, parmisean
What are guanciale and peccorino ? :O seems hard to find in the closest market
@@666Kiragirl666 Guanciale is "similar" to pancetta, is the only alternative we use in italy, pecorino is a sheep cheese too salted, you can use the parmigiano as alternative.
The important things are:
No butter
No onions
No mushrooms
No oil
No mascarpone
NO GARLIC

Just so you know: you don't need to use cream every time to make a creamy pasta 🤦🏽♀️ most of the times the only thing you need is the hot water you previously used to cook it and nothing else but a good wrist movement to move the pan the right way to make pasta "jump" in the pan, until it gets creamy. No butter, cream, cheese or whatever. Simple as that.
There are still so many things you have to learn about cooking pasta properly that you would be surprised.

Watching the video though, it seems that ingredients like heavy cream, cheese etc. are essential to get a creamy pasta and if you don't have them, then you can do nothing. I only would like people to know that they are not forced to include them in the recipe and they don't have to buy the whole supermarket just to make a tasty, creamy dish of pasta 😉.
Watching these recipes from my ( _italian) point of view_ (i just can't help doing this and i think it is normal, since i am italian) everything is made much more complicated and "messy" than it is supposed to be... less is more, in my opinion.
The hot water thing was just what I would call a "tip and trick", if other people like the way it is made in the video, well, good for them 🤷🏽♀️🙂
