I love how dragonite is becoming a slow control deck with multiple options so you can run whatever you prefer (hypno, weezing, pidgeot, etc). Also no EX so they have to actually knock out 3 to win is nice for the stall
To be honest I feel like my version is more consistent Instead of pidgey just run tanky Pokémon’s to stall as you give your dragonite energy some examples are lapras, snorlax, tentacruel, cloyster I’ve had more success and have consistently used Draco meteor 90% of my games with this
I've found running frostmoth with dragonite effective, due to the sleep control with x2 Sabrina control while I build up dragonite. Would also consider Heliolisk due to the 2 colorless 40+ atk but don't wanna run to many basics.
Tried this a couple games and had awful luck pulling dratini and not getting enough poke balls or oaks research so I sat their with a couple pidgey/ pigeotto while staring at a ramped charizard lol

Why could you attack after the Arbok did corner? Doesn't it stop you from attacking next turn? Unless the drive off ability undoes that after forcing to switch the Arbok? Is that what happened?
For me I would change sabrina for another x speed, and maybe Giovanni for a red card, I don't feel that Giovanni has that much value on dragonite. And I wish I had a 2nd dragonite

@@Enshin1006 the premise is just gamba. Both of them do crazy efficient damage if you roll good on the coins but they're terrible if you don't. Pretty much a gambler deck, but it's funny when it works lol
If I'm not wrong, you can heal the pokemon status evolving it. In the first match you could have wait to evolve your pidgey after he poison it. Loving watching your videos and your creativity! Three games per video would be amazing in my opinion
It works well if you have a Muk ready and waiting and you've just poisoned Mewtwo with Weezing before Koga brings Koffing/Weezing back into your hand and Muk steps up to hit Mewtwo for 140 plus a Poison tick at the beginning of the Opponent's next turn, thus a KO to Mewtwo. Granted, this requires setup. Koga is indeed NOT a single-handed counter. But is used TO counter.
@@TheMarukeru this setup is not a viable counter. It's too unreliable, or to rephrase it, it's too reliant on you having just the right cards at the perfect time. By the time you've set this up Mewtwo has already killed you in 90% of matches.

Frosmoth and base Articuno are both very good.
Dragonite's just such an insane card, and using Pidgeot as disruption is cool! Giovanni is kinda clutch (in this vid at least)
Yeah took me a while to realize this deck had no EX pkm, thought Pigeot was ex lol. More decks like this with no EX pkm would be cool.

You can check the opponent's energy pool to know what type they're playing even on the first turn.
This deck and the Fearow/Mawile/Meltan deck are really fun kff-meta picks.

Anything that is faster than them getting 4 energy on mewtwo and gardevore should work.
Dark hits for 20 more and koga decks can one shot it.
I tried the deck 😂 yeah the combo wasn't reliable. I mean it worked a few times but it's very hot or miss
