Thoroughbred Diesel's 9th Annual Judgement Day Dyno Event turned into a bunch of rednecks doing diesel truck burnouts beside our shop. Dodge Cummins, Ford Powerstroke and GM Duramax diesels laying rubber all over the place. This might be a dumb/off the wall question.....but in the event of an EMP.....since the diesel fires on compression and not an electrical system....will it still run?
I know there’s allot more electronics in diesels these days

The new trucks are very dependent on electrical signal so without the ECM signal the truck will not run.
