- No better time than #BeatNavy week to reflect on the long and storied WINNING history of the U.S. military. When you think about the most pivotal battles in history one question comes to mind, right - Where the heck was the Navy!?!?
The command group… and friends … searched all of New England to try answer that question!

Well General, maybe the reason you couldn't find the Navy was because you didn't know where you were. The North Bridge in Concord is over the Concord River and not the Charles, which you supposedly followed to get there. Hope you can find the stadium.

This is the USASOC (United States Army Special Operations Command) channel. Delta is a subordinate unit of USASOC.

The females were Civil Affairs Soldiers…which are part of the Special Operations Community but are not Green Berets. Green Berets serve in Special Operations Detachments as part of an A-team (SOD-A). Delta is a highly specialized Unit within SOCOM. You don’t necessarily have to be a Green Beret to go to Delta selection, as they do invite candidates actively serving in the Ranger Battalions. Delta is known by several names in the Army, SOD-D, Army Special Missions Unit (SMU), or just The Unit! It’s sometimes difficult to distinguish between Army Special Operators based solely on their Combat Patches. Hopefully, that helps some. There are plenty of former Army Special Forces who have channels on here…and they do a much better job of explaining than I do! I served 12 years in the Army as a Combat Engineer.

I wish the Army would stop changing grooming standards to appease everyone. The allowance of a "ponytail" is unacceptable. Next, they will coddle to the male grooming standards to make the whiners happy.
Do your research. Pony tails were allowed because buns were causing females to get alopecia, which is a medical condition. Stop crying.
