From my experience on Etsy I noticed the ‘secret algorithm tips’ actually worked for me 😅 so I saw massive growth after uploading 100 products and aimed to upload 2 products a day… which I know is a lot 😅 my advice is to make a lot of products before starting your store and have enough to upload every day for the first month! :) good luck everyone!

I opened an Etsy store about 6mths ago , I listed 5 items and the next day I had a massive anxiety attack and I put my store on holiday mode. So I haven’t sold a thing because of it. Now that I’ve seen this video , you’ve inspired me to get my arse into gear and re-open my store , thanks girl 👍
Woke up to your video and thank goodness as most other videos take all the fun out of creating products or trying to make a go of an online store and so grateful that you like this 61 year old is not going to stress and continue doing what I love
Thank you for making such a super chill video about starting. Recovering perfectionist here so as I am about to launch my shop within the next 2 weeks, so giving myself the space to launch imperfectly, have a number of listings for launch and putting on a sale on my listings carefully. Thank you x P.S - A new subscriber to your channel so that I can follow along with your growth. Best wishes.
Thank you for saying that 🥰 Oh me too, big time! It's honestly a never ending battle and I still constantly have to check myself whenever I start to get too caught up in the details and stop moving forward. Did you launch your store yet? I wish you all the best with it x
I just found your video today and the way you distinguish product and listing is very useful! I watched other videos about Etsy on UA-cam and thought it was the same thing
Thank you for being chill and open! I bought two expensive courses, opened the store but never put in any products due to overwhelm. You are reminding me it is ok to take it as I go.
Oh I've absolutely been in that position in the past... 100% just take it one baby step at a time & don't think about anything else except for the step you are at. All the courses in the world won't help unless you feel confident enough to take action. What kinds of products are you wanting to create?
Awesome video, thank you! So helpful! I'm launching soon so will def. have products ready to add when I open and I LOve the sale idea so will be implementing that too! Your store is lovely :)
I love the separate calendar for your milestones -- I'm going to do that moving forward. Also good luck on your Etsy, I agree with taking it chill. If you have a solid product and at least some decent seo, the sales will start rolling in faster and faster.
Hello, I am your new subscriber ..your video really helped me to relax a bit. I am from Malaysia and will launch my digital wall art Etsy store on May 19th (this month). I am trying to be perfect in all aspects related to the shop, but your video is helpful and encourages all new sellers to slow down and plan better. I am excited and will do one at a time and roll thereafter. It is a lot to do in the beginning. I need to learn about Pinterest marketing. Thank you and wish you the best with your store😍
Thank you for saying that 🥰 I recently posted a more in depth look at my product listing process ua-cam.com/video/SzVuUv36otg/v-deo.html if that is what you are after. Otherwise if there is anything else you'd like me to cover please let me know, happy to share everything I can on my digital product journey!
Gooday Teri-ann im an Aussie living in Thailand, its a great video. congrades luv ya. will be opening a web site in the near future thanks for your honesty.
Website templates make decent money on average, digital templates are hard you need tons of quality listing to get enough visibility I would say 200 is a good start
I’ve seen it’s better to put products on sale every 24-48 hours so it always looks like it’s expiring soon and creates that urgency to buy. Thanks for this video, was really helpful!!
It's so good to see an Australian Etsy store owner here! I'm about to start mine, but I've been put off from trying the Print on Demand stuff due to the extra costs and the terrible AU dollar right now. I noticed your sales / revenue are in AUD. Do you know if that's normal for Aus stores? I saw another Aus seller but her store was in USD. Confusion!!! 😂
I think it's more about Etsy seeing you getting visits/views (from youtube) but no sales so you get a bad quality score/ranking gets worse; that's what people mean by it screws up your stats 😊
I am just starting out myself on Etsy and I want to recreate a lot of my realestate collateral as templates to sell to other realestate agents like myself. Great video by the way and yes, I have now subscribed to your channel. My first question is, how did you workout the sale price for your templates? Cheers mark

My question is would you mind to share your no ads pinterest strategy? I have used a paid ads strategy for my full time brand + web biz but would love to know how to do it without ads! Huge Blessings
Thank you for your comment & congratulations on your new store! That's so exciting 🥰 I am tweaking the Pinterest Strategy at the moment as I implement it. Once I've had a few weeks to tweak and test it I will absolutely post a video on it. Pinterest has made some changes in its algorithm this year so I just want to be sure what I'm doing is actually working before sharing it 😅 I will say my main priority is pushing out fresh content pins for my products with a mix of video and standard pins. In terms of video, I am just using Canva to animate them.
Honestly, just remind yourself that you can always fix or improve on it later. Once a listing is published it's not the end. Just start, tweak and adjust later 🥰 You've 1000% got this!!

Thank you 😊 Etsy does let you sell on the platform without an ABN, however whether you need one or not is dependant on your own circumstances and whether you are running your store as a hobby or a business.. I'm not a tax professional so can't give any advice however if you are unsure you could always give the ATO a call and confirm with them, or speak with your accountant.
