man i miss my 85 4runner with the 22re, i also had an 84 4runner with the 22r which was a dog in the power department but a very capable rig...now I have the supercharged 3.4 03 taco which is a great grocery getter and quick but doesn't compare wheeling wise to those old 4runners... pretty rad how well the stock rig did in the snow!
The old ones are great, best part is they are normally pretty cheap and easy to beat on, and they take it! Don't have to worry about balljoints like the newer stuff.
OH MAN!!! This video is making me so amped to get some snow wheeling in this weekend! Thanks for the amazing content!
Great video man always my favorite channel to watch Toyotas doing the best of them
Thaat was awesome. Friends sharing the same passion. Love the fact they aren't big dollar builds. Love the fact that you fix what you break and show us what can go wrong and how to fix it ourselves. Bonus that they are all Toyotas like mine or there abouts. Great editing, good music. Top stuff. Thank you for the effort it takes to record it instead of just getting out there having fun.
Thank you very much! I love sharing this hobby with friends, makes it better and better. And generally all our builds are pretty cheap, that's why we start with old Toys. Thanks for the compliments, it really means alot!
Lookin forward to the 85 getting some love in the next episode!
Oh it gets a lot of love! Next week we will have a actual build up episode on it 😁
@@DirtGarage Sweet! I grew up with my dad's '84 22r solid front axle... Ive been a believer ever since haha
5:57 Corey being the cat that can climb the tree, but trying to figure how to get back down
Time for an upgrade. Also snow wheeling looks fun. We don't get much of that here
Eventually, for now I slapped some stocks back in because it's cheap. We still have alot of snow in mountains.
Just got my 85 I am fix time chain . And iam snow crawling damn this shit make me hungery
What models are the red and grey trucks?
I'm desperate for winter tires - the NEW Toyo AT3, but won't arrive here in Canada in time.
Toyo Canada said arrives here in Dec-Feb sometime
Lucky 'Murcan's already have them
That sucks! Little late for winter, but probably worth the wait. I love Toyos, although zero experience with their A/T line.
I miss hanging out with all you kids!
Dude! Come visit sometime. Maybe after this pandemic goes away 😂 Or come hide in the koots. Both good options. We'd love to take you and Nina out!
Do you have a video where you show how you installed the ifs hubs on your front axle?
I have not installed the IFS hubs yet! Still need to order Tacoma rotors to make them work. I will for sure make a video about it when it's done 😁
Ok. Awesome, I am in the process of sas my toyota and using alot of your ideas to make it easier. Like welding on front and rear hangers before removing ifs stuff. So I am "Literally" watching all your vids. Thank you for making them.
It’s like the guy in the 85 is trying to blow it up. Is it a 3.0 or 22r
Nope. He just likes the redline 😂 Only way he found to keep up to us. This was before any of the current mods done to perform better offroad. Build episode is next week. Also it's a 22re.
I wish there was a double thumbs-up option
Correction: Bryan's rig is a 1991, not a 1993 :)
Less music plz
You should float not tire spin
Depends on the snow. This was also before the dual cases. So creepy crawling was not a option.
I love the sound of a 22re @ redline 😍. Great vid as always👍🍺
Thank you dude! That 22re loves the redline. Spends most its life there it seems 😂
