Is the phytoplankton live or died?? Attenuated?? Why 10 species per bottle mixed and not one with 30 species of phytoplankton?? Don't you get one species taking over in the bottle?? Thanks
@@heronaquatics4661 the Plancton is alive that’s why we ship it monthly out when the production is freshly made. The Plancton species are combined that’s they support each other in the bottle and that they have different features like food, microbiology and Biom and watertreatment. We choose them from 90 different strains.
You lost me at "30 different strains". TSA, which is leading the US market on culturing and promoting phyto for hobby use, only sells three different strains at this point in time. Even the scientific and university research offerings have at most a dozen species of phytoplankton for use in a marine setting. None of these are offered in a mix either, they are separate cultures, as combining species leads to the elimination of weaker strains by more dominant strains - i.e. Nannochloropsis, which is one of the least nutritional species being cultivated, tends to wipe out any other species it is kept with for any meaningful duration
No, he will try to steal your Krabby Patty recipe.
