These ARE recipes that would be for uni students who live alone. You just have to 1/2 the recipe and eat the same thing for a couple of days. Cook once eat thrice! ;0) - even better if you have a freezer you can freeze individual portions in tupperware type containers and then pull one out when you want it and zap it in the microwave! If you made these dinners and freezed them, you could eat for a month!

I often dice or grate zucchini into my pasta sauce. My kids love it, and it adds a green vegetable. I only say that because I saw your zucchini in the background when you started the spaghetti and thought that was your plan. 😂
I just make zoodles out of the zucchini. This t8me of year people with gardens are handing out squash like candy . Make sauce with burst garden tomato’s

I think there is a certain demographic that talks about food prices and how they can’t afford anything to eat. That’s just bs. If u live in America u can afford to eat. Period. I would suggest a big container of generic oatmeal for breakfast and split peas for soup. You can eat to bursting for what ? fifty cents a day. And it’s vegetarian. If u don’t swing that way get a ham hock and it just adds a few more cents and taste better for split pea soup . People are ridiculous and whiny af . If you want to own a house work and stop buying crap. You need two pairs of pants five tops and two pairs of shoes . Just stop buying stufffffff geez . I’m debt free my whole life! I have traveled the world I own my own house I have a car and I did it bartending! then got my rn from a community college for 13 thousand . Sure go pay a $100000 for your BSN but on the floor I make just as much as you and I wrote a check to pay for my schooling . I’m going for my masters now and my employers paying for my tuition . If I have one more septum wearing coworker say they need a mental health day I’m going to 😵💫🤬 they complain and moan and are lazy and non team workers . Ok I’m done with my rant. Any ways split pea soup is delicious and cheap. Cheers!
My local hospitals won't even hire ASNs anymore and are making all them go back and get their BSNs. So lucky you, you sound pleasant to be around.

Tough words but spot on. I have a family member who always complains about everything even though he has been given so much all of his life. He had free education. He chose to quit. He had opportunities most people can't imagine. My youngest brother and I put ourselves through university, both of us working the whole time, cinching up the belt as necessary, marrying frugal partners, sacrificing and working hard. We didn't and don't, complain about finances, even when times get really tough. There's a world of difference between our approaches to life. We ARE fun to be around whereas the other brother is a curmudgeon who whines and complains anytime there are ears to hear.
Nevertheless, Madi's presentations are helpful for those who are lost when it comes to food budgeting and management. They are not extreme and very doable for most incomes.
