CALLOUT VIDEO: A difficult helicopter winch.
Working in conjunction with the ambulance service and the MCA search and rescue helicopter from Newquay, Rescue 924, a difficult extraction was undertaken to stabilise the lady's injuries and stretcher her to a point higher up the valley where she could be winched out.
The nature of the steep ground and tree cover made the winch operation far from straight forward.
