The 1 card combo to summon blazar instead of calamity is still quite nice, omni/summon/attack negation at your discretion, and since it banishes itself, you can reset it while retaining the 2 extradeck banishes + counter trap. But you have to use shooting star t.g. ex on your turn to summon mighty striker to retain blazar's reset for your opponent's turn instead of blade blaster

Great question! It's honestly just easier to go into lvl 10s Since most of the monsters the deck uses for synchros are either lvl 1,2,4 or 5. So even tho crystal wing is good it's not as accessible as chaos angel or a baron.
