my nothstar change from green light to red light and i think irobot braava can not connect to it, so can you help me to know this problem and solve this? tks!
@@TechandDesign In this case it actually meant that I hadn’t loaded the cloth properly like you show in the video. I reloaded it and everything went well. Thanks for both your answers!
FYI, you definitely don't want to put vinegar or anything acidic in the reservoir. After a couple of years it will cause the adhesive holding the tread on the tire to dissolve and the tread will fall off. There is no cost-effective iRobot-supported method to repair it so, if you're out of warranty, you're stuck with buying a new one
It's just a little vinegar with water, about 1 table spoon and the rest water. After a few years of doing this and not having any issues, I would say vinegar is safe.
The cleaning pad is broken after using it a few times. Don't buy this product to ensure that you will disappear in the future. I am one of the victims.
I called iRobot and they sent me a new pad for free. I do have three Roombas -including one that is 13 years old and working fine- a Braava Jet M6, the Braava 240 and this one, the 380 T, so maybe they took that into consideration. I’ve had this model since it came out and have replaced its battery twice with inexpensive, third-party ones on Amazon. Each one has lasted at least a year, at about $24 per battery.
Execent video. I would suggest you include that Everyone Should Watch this Video Before opening the box
Great video! Especially explaining the battery charger.
Glad it was helpful!
New robot owner; great video! Thanks!
Thank you! I just got mine and I was being lazy to read the instructions lol 😆
videos are better anyways

Thank you so much for this, very helpful!
Hi, just bought mine, July 2023, before its first use, should I charge it overnight as it says in the instructions?
That plastic on top is covering the sensor for the nothstar cube, should probably be taken off or it might obscure it
Will this go over lips in between rooms?

Is their no go lines?
Thanks a lot
Happy to help
How can you connect this model to an app on your phone?
you can't since this robot is not wifi
We use it with Swiffer pads
why? I bough some on ebay that are reusable
Great advice, I can’t find the pads in my country 👌🏻
What is the use of that controller BTW? I would like to have more details on if it impacts the navigation of the robot and any tips around it?
controller?
@@TechandDesign right, but where do I position it in for maximum coverage?
Good how to :)
😃
I've bought an 390t on eBay for 20€. The robot isnt 100% go straight forward, he is a little bit clixking sounds from mot8r but it works well.
What does it mean when the unit is on and you push the wash button and it turns red instead of blue?
red means low battery
can also mean error

My iRobot 380 won’t spray
thats because they dont spray

how did the pad brake ? I have it over 1 year now and that has not happened and I don’t see how it could unless you drop it
what was bad about it was the battery life, it only lasted about 7 months , than neeeded to buy new battery
Mine broke too. Just bought a second one
