Stephan Jolk returns to Watergate, following his sublime ‘Sleeping Beauty’ EP.
The Italian artist is a master at soundtracking transcendental dancefloor experiences, with a beautiful body of work to his name, highlighted by a string of releases on Watergate Records, Rukus, Afterlife, Rose Avenue, Upperground, and most lately Embassy One with his collaboration with Monolink. His latest opus is prime for glistening sunset sessions and early morning raves alike, as a delicate bed of drums, emotion-charged strings and the soaring vocals of braev light up the night’s sky. A song for the listener that highlights Braev’s eternal voice, and a clear step of maturity for a producer that has come so far in such a short period of time.

@@beezcerbopls8610 thank you! my vocal coach, Seth Riggs (same coach for Michael Jackson and Rihanna and others) got me a scholarship for the Opera program at UCLA. Before the Opera, I used to sing in an indie rock band, and the opera program helped me expand to different ranges. Of course, having Michael Jackson’s vocal coach also helps a lot lol. I had manu Ukrainian and Russian piano teachers when I was a kid as well, so everything combined just helps in regards to chords, notes, key… I usually make my own chords and sing on them, then send the tracks out, and the collaborators make their thing around it. Classical music is at the root of everything, so a big shout out and thank you to all the classical composers that paved the way for everything in music

@@TomynTTbeing “done” is sticking to 1 style, it shows a lack of evolution, no growth. stephan finishes tracks faster than anyone else in any style, at a high level. however, he also hates when he feels like he’s doing what everyone else is doing. He’s in a special pocket right now
