Thank you.... I enjoyed your talk very much. Especially when you were explaining the dilemma of the Artist (myself incl.) how difficult it is balancing doing Art and the necessary mitzvahs like "diapering the baby", doing dishes, putting out the garbage, etc. I find myself in a turmoil of thoughts and inspiration, many times only to find myself getting neither good deeds nor Art DONE. Many tears over this because of not redeeming the time properly. Anyway, I appreciate the things you discuss, and all the care and preparation required. I personally wish, and I hate that word "wish", that I could be more productive when it comes to choosing Life and living it more satisfactorily.

Before I became a Christian, I already marvel at religious artworks of churches. It's like so out of this world, resonating something deep in my soul.
In recent years, my art appetite grew to like Judaism art and naive art of Jewish artists. Same marvelling of what God has put in these artists to inspire wonderment.
I do wonder what entails of the relationship in Judaism and mysticism. Is mysticism frowned upon or accepted large and by in the Jewish community?

It feels as though with the net analogy, that moshiach works in a way like the net where the deeper suffering is seen, it needs to be revealed and brought to light for all of those still asleep or distracted by their own comforts. It's just my opinion and I'm still learning so much from you and everyone. I really enjoyed hearing about Rabbi Akiva and really all the powerful grounding you give to me. I'm grateful that I found you on UA-cam. And your videos always come at a time when I need them to grow in understanding but also just to rebalance myself.

Brilliant talk Rabbi. I would question your description when comparing Jewish mysticism with Eastern meditation. Just investigate the life of Sri Mata Anandamayi Devi and you will see that this Mahatma who is a Supreme meditation master has emphasized to her devotees importance of being involved ti benefit the world in a very practical way. The power of meditation results in actions infused by awareness. Love your description of art as divine inspiration.

Idk if this is something that you'd want to do, but you use a number of terms that are not familiar to a non-Jewish person. If at least sometimes you could clarify this terminology it would be helpful, at least for someone like me.

🤔✨️✨️ you could say then God having us here is to get to know, understand and eventually master the art of "being".
I as an aspiring artist can only look at "non artist people" and realize they are better artists in life.
The simple things of daily life have been so difficult for me that I can only admire people that have jobs, families, and that are kind and patient, that understand the importance of being a parent, or just plainly a good person that contributes value to others.
I think we are all doing our best, trying, most of us, but yes that art is so elusive and undervalued, the highest art, of plainly being, understanding your role and doing it.
...sometimes I feel negatively about society...about people "being dumb" you know from my arrogance....but yes....really things in life balance, and I guess having outwards frustrations at society also projects the inner frustrations at oneself for lacking what others, that I called "dumb", actually have that I dont

We are never to attempt to copy the Most-High's creation in form. He only commanded the cherubims etc to be made for His use...not for our financial gain.
My parents literally used me for being that artist.then when i started learning about my gifts they condemned me for being that artist.and a long story short ive been emotionally tortured ever since some light shined on that perspective.basically im the only light one in my family and they are dark and have hated me since
