I honestly felt like they was pushing towards a more powerful version in the next gen but he got bad rep for being a repeat Ken and ryu with no eye opening moves
Looks nice, but a few suggestions: Akuma is supposed to be like a pumped up Ken, so Gouken is supposed to be more like a pumped up Ryu. Maybe make him slower but stronger and give him defensive counters and the rush punch from SF4. Maybe hide the dragon punch in his defensive counters. The spinning moves are a little too flashy for him. Ken does moves like that because he likes to show off. But Ryu / Gouken / Akuma are more serious. The double jumping fireball might be overkill. Maybe give him a double ascending fireball to knock people out of the air? In Assassin’s fist, they explain that only one person has the beads around their neck, and that they are the true Shotokan Master. Akuma took those from Goutetsu when he killed him, so maybe Gouken doesn’t need them.
Atleast the characters were balanced the same as KOF, cause' theres alot of "OP" characters like orochi Iori, Kusanagi,Blood Yagami, Element,etc. But give street fighter some slack if you feel bad :(

Gouken é o irmão do Akuma que ele mato na história do Street figther e fez aquele simbolo que fica nas costas do Akuma com o sangue do Gouken na parede da ora Gouken é forte só que o Akuma mato ele.
na historia o Akuma mata o seu mestre Goutetsu e não o Gouken na primeira batalha deles adolescente o Gouken vence depois quando Gouki já esta com o poder do Akuma do livro secreto ele fica mais forte vence Gouken isso logo depois de ele ter matado o seu mestre mais Gouken treina por anos pra vingar o seu mestre e acaba ficando um pouco mais forte que o Akuma o Akuma só vence pelo poder do Messatsu foi assim que ele venceu o Gouken no SF4. o Akuma estava perdendo mais aumentou o seu poder e o Gouken acabou sendo derrotado mais uma vez

I really like the techniques than Gouken used here when fightin' against his younger brother Gouki/Akuma. They look much better.

You know, seeing this I almost wish Gouken was normal sized in SF4 since that appearance is canon. But he looks so good here.
