      Hi, I could but I don't own that lens. If I ever come across one of those, I can take a look. Please join the "lens repair" group in Facebook, share some pictures and we will try to guide you thru the repair. Cheers.

      @@diyextravaganzaTe comento que me fue súper bien! Mí lente es 50mm f/1.8 Ais, la única diferencia es que no sale todo el cuerpo óptico, sino una parte por delante y la otra por detrás, desarmando la bayoneta, por suerte es sencillo, no da problemas. Si probé terminar de limpiar (luego de usar tu receta mata hongos😂e isopropilico despues) los lentes con Lighter Fluid como el ZIPPO, deja el lente súper nitido, casi sin veteo. Muchas gracias!!! 👏👏👏👏🇦🇷🇦🇷🇦🇷

    Thank You for sharing. Do you know how to repair an helicoïdal screw, please ? I cannot replace the front of my lenf after cleaning, the helicoïd is damaged.

      Hi, what do you mean by damaged, the barrel is deformed or the threads are deformed? Cheers.

    Really nice tear down and cleaning video. Can you tell us what the names of the tools are that you used? Edit: oh you have the tools in the description. Thanks!

      @diyextravaganza  3 роки тому

      yes, you can. Use a glove however, it will burn your finger otherwise.

    Hello nice video! Where did you bought those lenses you use, I tried Ebay but broken and lenses with fungus are over $50 on as is basis, too expensive for a lens that will need repairs and a lot of work, besides you will need to invest in special tools. Thanks

    And then resell it without mentioning the fungus. Buyer beware.

      if the lens is well cleaned, why it should be a problem?
