Dulce R-L Yes, the future is no longer in the hands of man but in the hand of nature. We have been running a thin line for a very long time. The start of the debacle for me has multiple start points. From the point of view of the medical world there is a VERY clear start point in 1973.
This is the year Paul Berg hybridised SV40 and EColi. Literally joining a bacteria very abundant in human bodies with a dangerous monkey virus. The medical world described this as VERY safe with very little nay ZERO risk. However, different to Paul Berg, another scientist WARNED of HIV even before it existed. The scientific community scoured the world for evidence of this and found NOTHING.
There is MUCH more but people here need to get around the start point of how we got to 2020 vision of the CERTAIN event of today that JUST happened to arrive in 2020.
It actually gets much worse and as they say if you wrote this as FICTION, nobody would believe you. But it is FACT.
And we are only at the beginning or the nth beginning of rellease of yet ONE MORE man made PATHOGEN.
      TIME TO ACT?
Or just let them succeed to destroy the HUMAN RACE?

Many people have been waiting for this to happen, not because they wanted it to happen, simply that it was an evidence that it was going to happen. They just didn't know it would be the winter of 19/20 or that it would be Coronavirus. All the signs were there, all the studies were there. Clinging onto the hope that "just maybe" it will not happen is stupidity.

My extended family hasn't been taking this pandemic seriously at all and now are paying the price. My cousin threw a party a little over a week ago and just tested positive. Now several of my family members who attended are scrambling to get tested including my grandmother who is a cancer survivor and immunocompromised. I can't see my mom or grandmother because they don't wanna risk exposing me and potentially put my job at risk. This virus is not gonna magically disappear because we're bored of being at home. @Crusader Keep in mind that at that time, the disease was believed to have not spread beyond the Asian countries. Sending PPE to them was in hopes of containing the disease there and not letting it spread across the ocean. Indeed all the people who Trump fired with the CDC back in 2018 were with a program started by Obama to try and address epidemics abroad to prevent them from leaving those countries. It wasn't just people with associations with China sending PPE over to China but many charities and even governments such as Canada and some governments such as Alberta were setting up supply contracts to warehouse PPE in case the epidemic did spread across the ocean as far back as December in Alberta's case. Don't blame an ethnic minority if your government failed to prepare as there are some governments that did prepare and that assistance was by numerous charities and governments not just the ethnic minorities and was in hopes of containing the problem abroad while others just twiddled their thumbs in denial.

To a large degree this is true for many but not for those who are vulnerable in long term care facilities, not for those who are mandated back to work and have to chose between health and fiscally supporting family members, not for first responders with inadequate PPE and not for vulnerable populations with limited access to health care resources for COVID and for chronic illness management for other co-morbidities that have taken a back seat in communities where other health care services are delayed.

New Zealand controlled Covid effectively. The underlying reason is because of our societal values. We value being friendly and neighbourly. We dislike corruption, and people who act for personal gain. We require openness and honesty in politics and public service, so can generally trust government. Subsequently, when the leadership asked for team work, they got it.

She also told me that some at the hospital have recovered but are sustaining permenant damage as the result of the illness. I understand that some people loose extremities due to necrosis brought on by hypoxia. She has been tested and was negative for antibodies. She said she was relieved as otherwise she would be frightened of getting sued by patients if she had unwittingly passed it on. Also anyone she had been in contact with would have to be traced and tested. This virus is no joke. We need to not become complacent. We need to stay vigilant.

In Belgium, meanwhile we're lonely at the top having most deaths per million inhabitants. The politicians have handled this pandemic wrong since the beginning. Masks were not necessary, on the contrary they said it could do more harm than good ( they lied bc they had non) if only they had been honest and asked the public to make masks. Some did but it wasn't enough when the government isn't backing it. There also was no reason to quarantine those infected skiers coming back from Italy early march. There was little to non testing. And to my utter frustration again after all these months the politicians know better again than the virologists and the don't mandate to wear a mask in grocery stores.they rely on the ppl's common sense and ask to keep enough sociial distancing. There isn't enough distance possible in the shops and on top of that families are now allowed to go shopping together again. No mask needed and for sure less distancing. (Very few havethe common sence the politicians are hoping for Ihardly see any mask in the grocery stores) They will mandate wearing a mask when the curve goes up again. Haven't they learned anything? It's too late when the curve goes back up. We have to be proactive. This isn't rocket science. We hung white sheets and clapped at 8 in the evening to appreciate the doctors and nurses. And now it's like spitting in the faces of the healthcare workers. Tomorrow I have to go to a doctor and I know from other patients that she doesn't wear a mask even when the pandemic was at its highest. This all makes me soooooo mad

Look at what has worked, not at what some politician wants you to think. How did they stop ebola? Distancing and education. Why was it difficult? Because people didn't trust the doctors. Once they were able to start educating the public, the word got around and people remembered the old stories of how virus' had been stopped in the past. Go read and educate but avoid all conspiracy theories.

The WHO along with most governments did not recommend masks for the general public for two reasons. Firstly to protect healthcare workers supply of masks and secondly because there was no actual hard scientific evidence that masks would prevent the spread among the public. There is limited evidence that it will reduce public spread now so the advice has changed.

There are no MD courses in Britain. Anyone with a PhD, DSc, DLL etc are entitled to be called Doctor. The problem we have here is that Doctor is pretty much always associated with the medical profession except surgeons who are always Mr/Mrs/Miss/Ms due to the medical profession seeing surgeons as being inferior.

Can't watch her video right now but read a brief synopsis. Hers is not a mainstream view it's clear, she says there's no need for physical distancing, lockdown or vaccine because it's not as dangerous as it's been made out and once you've had it you are immune. Dr John has talked about all of these things many times: his view is that it is much more serious than flu (as evidenced by the data he provides but also by Boris Johnson's experience) and that social distancing etc help reduce the number of people (around 15% I believe) who get seriously ill from it and the 5% who go to ICU or die. There is an argument to be made about whether the economic destruction lockdowns are causing is worth it, but from the view of saving lives Dr John thinks it is. Perhaps the best solution that balances both sides of the argument would be people socially distancing, masking up, largely continuing with their lives as normal but forgoing situations that involve crowds. The one argument that is not valid in this case is the cry of "Freedom". Interestingly she is the chair of Ireland's Freedom Party a eurosceptic group. Coincidence? (By the way without EU development aid and the access to the EU market that Ireland offers overseas companies like Dell and Google, Ireland would not be where it is today economically, or even close.)

Let's remember aswell every case in the world at the moment came from one individual case in China, there are currently thousands of cases in the UK, even with social distancing one has to wonder how this will go away to any successful degree any time soon.

The problem in Bradford is the same as the problem in Leicester - the huge number of Pakistanis - 50% of all new UK CCP-19 cases are flown in (twice a day!) from Pakistan. If that wasn’t enough reason to ban flights from Pakistan - the post Karachi crash revelation that one third of all Pakistani pilots BOUGHT their pilots’ licence should be enough to ban all flights from there until every pilot has retaken their pilots' licence (with independent supervision). Why isn’t this front page news? Why is it being buried? Can you imagine the fuss if one third of BA pilots were found to have hooky licences?
If it’s that easy to buy your way into flying a metal tube around the world over packed cities with hundreds of passengers on board - just think how easy it must be to buy your way into being a doctor? How many Pakistani fake doctors do we have in the UK?

Who could have imagined that Sweden would opt for senicide? Who could have imagined that Bolsonaro would actively oppose medical response to the pandemic? We all have to adapt. Parents, children, employers, employees. Completely doable. We are an inventive species and change is a part of life.
Can't understand why masks are a problem for some, it's relatively easy. Like putting a seatbelt on when you get in a car. Put a mask on before entering a shop.
Who knows. We may learn from this and find out masks and good hand hygiene reduce flu cases as well.
We may also stop this ridiculous way we have of working when we have flu symptoms, passing it on to our colleagues in the process.
If our children become better at research because remote schooling has them researching a subject, all the better!

All any of us can do is adapt our lifestyle as best we can to reduce the risk of covid 19. Face coverings, 2 meters, limit contacts, avoid crowds, closed spaces and close contact. Wash hands. Stay home if you are sick. Spray your outdoor coat with disinfectant (this one came from the daughters school for their uniforms). Exercise. Fresh air.

Mark Shepherd, You are ABSOLUTELY correct. I think eye Protection is ESSENTIAL. I wear safety goggles over my eyeglasses. I do this because back when the Mad Cow Disease Outbreak happened it was discovered that a gardener who poured bonemeal on his roses contracted the disease from aerosolized particles of bonemeal contaminated with prions. That was discovered by contact tracing and investigation.
SARS-CoV-2 virus is spread by particulate and aerosolized droplets with virus in them. AIRBORNE. Eyes, nose, mouth mucus membranes are vulnerable. If I wear a face shield, I still wear a mask. And if I wear my mask I wear eye Protection goggles over my eyeglasses. I got the goggles in the hardware section of the dollar store. They are standard safety glasses and are vented at top and do not steam up. I hope you are doing well. Thank you for your comment I think people need to be reminded of this. I think the reason the public is not being told is the idea of people only being able to handle one message at a time. ( Mask wearing) Leaders tend to doubt people's ability to think for themselves. It is coming across from many, a good clean out would be a good thing, that this virus is a good thing, More and more, the failure or wreaking in the economy is the leading fear, not a virus, the failure of the economy, is a greater fear than lives, I would say to the people who believe in survival of the fittest, go ahead. forget medicine, science, forget any care for humanity, just believe in your own aptitudes, your own belief to survive, forget any empathy, you may believe rightly or wrongly that the Planet is overcrowded that because your fit and strong, the weak should die, this is coming through loud and clear, on many many social media and UA-cam sites. Who will be the first leader to be honest and say any of this. Just one thing, next time it may be worse. Its not the fittest that survive, its the species that adapts to change the quickest. I'm sorry for you all that can't see what is really going on, but to be blaming neighbors for their actions or non action is ludicrous if we are still allowing innocent people's deaths through wars that only benefit the globalist agenda, the Elite, that 1% that doesn't give a rats ass about you or anyone dying.
