- A music video about the most badass character of Stargate Atlantis Ronon Dex. The clips I used are from various episodes, that's why I didn't do any credits because it were far too much episodes. Hope you guys like it!

@replicator666 Ye that would totally do it O'Neill/Daniel were great together, even the short moments in Subversion together were also just like the good ol' days. The other couples you stated are also great. SGU got only winers and w*nkers :( Ronon would kick the crap out of them!

Much of this was from an episode in season 3 called Sateda, which was my favorite episode of the entire series. Ronan Dex is one of my all time favorite syfy characters. Jason Momoa was cast perfectly for this role. Though I wish they had put Dr. Keller with him instead of Rodney (I'd have been beyond pissed if I was Jewel Statie lol!)
Agree with everything you said. One of my favorite episodes, too. A Ronon episode. It was hard watching him get captured by the Wraith and turned into a runner again. And what's up with the Rodney/Keller thing? I cannot for the life I'd me seeing anyone wanting him, especially over Ronon. Weird.
Better paired with Amelia Banks. Would have happened in Season 6.

ronon represents man at his most basic nature, Rousseau's "Noble savage" as he termed it i believe. He is man's survival instinct, he is what happens you you strip a person down to their core and separate them from everything they've ever known. free from everything yet backed into a corner. theres a kind of purity in that, i suppose he's kind of like Arnold Schwarzenegger near the end of Predator.

As much shit SGU got - it and this were by far and away better shows than SG1. From the get-go there are rediculously hokey core aspects of the series that were sadly engrained into it's verty being by the SG1 - but managed to implement the awful comic-relief in a much more effecti9ve and tolerating sort of way than SG1 ever came close tyo doing! I can understand those who hated the SGU direction to some extent anyways - but seriously it was undoubdedlt the type of sci-fi that we to this day are in desperate need of. Refering to the dark undertones and whole realistic-vibe - cuz seriously people - that hokey 80's to 9's lighthearted "comic-relief"-ridden sort of sci-fi series has been done to fuckin death and that goes for the big screan as well! To go from the film to the SG1 series is anamount to watching two completely different visions to say the least. Hell i emember watching ther first sg1 episode and thinking - "what the fuck did i jusrt watch/ For fuck's sake - did i watch the rtight show?" Cuz it wasn'y just the tone though - hell the back-story/universe was not even remoterly similar to the film's (minus the stargate and the whole ancient egypt parts - and no i am not exagerating)!!!! Now Atlantis did what the original didn't finally succeed in doing until the final one and a half seasons and in spite of hhow similarly hokey "Farscape" was and is - it too evolved far beyond even the final two seasons in SG1 - by the last two years and the film had done. They gave us a much less unbearably hokeyness that was so cringworthy that it's nearly unwatcheable for me that tempered a b it (thaknk, - god!) - by the Anubis era in season's 5 through 7 or so - and finaly brought to the Atlantis level as i9 stated easrlier - in the final years. That's why i also find it funny how when those twop came over from Farscape when it was canled after year 4 - had a "funny" episode where they m,ade fun of Farsccape" (seeing as how by tyhe last two years it was far better and less hokey than ,even those two years in which those actors had made to jump). Especially for Farscape's final season - was pretty fuckin great! And it was that season where i feel SGA really had used as itt's buil,ding blocks imo - and not even SG!! Dex was easily the single best example of how much it as a series - had imp,roved tenfold! Hell - he was the best character on all three shows and is easily one of the top five greatest characters in sci-fi history imo!
I love how Ronon holds the knife in front of his face and twists it menacingly as he's beginning his fight with Ford. It's like he's saying, "This sharp blade is for you." 100% badass!

@replicator666 Indeed I miss SGA too, certainly after the 1st season of SGU. SGU is okay, but not really my show. I miss the humor and the great character relationships of SGA :(
