Hey, first time viewer. Love this. Feel free to talk away
Great and informative video! I'm hoping to build one or two of these this spring. I appreciate your insight, you're not overtalking at all. Thanks for this!
Interesting build. The do help as long as the bats move in and not birds.
Ken
Moonpie Creations the entrance is pretty small, I just hope the bats find it before the wasps do
I like but. Need to go back and watch how you built it again I seen this on the news tonight about the square box on top of a pole so I was curious how you did it they did not show any plastic fencing type stuff
1 year later did you ever get any bats to go in it?
Very good video. Just found you today!
One question - I'm sure there's an advantage to it, but why the gutter screen instead of making horizontal grooves?
good video, I'm curious about how much concrete you used to keep the bat box in the ground
Get any Bats?
Great Video!! I enjoyed the content (with verbal instructions.) 👍 New Sub... Thanks!
I like in a colder climate (northern Wis). I want to make a "multi chamber" version like this. Do you think I should use Quick-rete and go maybe 4 ft down to make it more stable?
nice quick video! dont you need to paint it black for warmth in ohio... with avg july temps being 85 or less.
I realise this is 3 years old, so probably wont get a reply, but my math is terrible. At 1:21 its going to be a 17' 4x4 post. However two pieces 6' and 4' are cut from a 10' length and the 4' is added to a 10' piece then tied together by the remaining 6' piece to make a joint. I assume another 10' piece is added to the 6' piece making it 16' altogether with an additional 2' added to the original 10' +4' pieces to bring it up to 16' as well. Is this correct or am I missing something? Thanks in advance.
Do not use net inside, bats get entangled in it...
Put a couple of spacers on the bottom to keep the house from shifting.
