If he'd tried to roll it in, I'm almost certain it would've gone in the pocket and he would've won frame and, eventually, match. Winning the first frame of the final session to go 15-10 up would've given Jimmy a massive boost and although Hendry clearly wouldn't have given up at that point, he certainly would've started to have doubts about whether he was going to win.
