As sad as disbandment is, sometimes I wish the company would just disband a group rather than keep them on hiatus. A lot of them are stuck in a contract as a result and can’t seek work elsewhere. It would be so much easier for the group if their contracts were terminated by the company and they disbanded. And they should release a statement to fans. It’s sad but better than hiatus without any news.

Chungha’s agency debuted a group just to forget about them 😭 Like they really said “Yeah sorry but we only care about Chungha” like 🧍🏽♀️I feel like they only use them when Chungha takes a break. I’m a fan of both btw. But I guess because one of them are in girls planet 999 that’s why they didn’t comeback yet

Well honestly I think their company only debuted the group because Chungha did extremely well and gain successes after gotta go. I’m guessing they though the success would help their new group but it didn’t. And I’ve honestly thought this since it was announced that they are to debut because I always felt like they didn’t have enough fans, the group themselves to debut unless their debut song and comeback song would be top tier to gain them attraction.. I mean any comeback could gain them attraction but I was right. I think they should’ve went about it differently. They should’ve released the girls one by one giving the public content letting people get really familiar or at least have people anticipating

For rookies like them many jobs have been closed for them including the common source of income was the festival performance, heck even big companies are rushing out comebacks so what are the chance do smaller groups have. Everything are lockdown so does their revenue. I agreed with what you said, If they invest on Bvndit then it might affect Chungha comeback which make more money so they just went for the safe route. Entertainment industry can be so extreme which you can make lot of money or you file bankruptcy in a blink of the eye it is an risky job nonetheless. For others industry, at least you get to control the result and you get pay based on your labor work. But in the entertainment industry, you can't control the result even if you put out might be the SOTY material but still the public audience will ignore you. Often time saying that working hard and you will achieve your goal is not wrong but it is naive at the same time. Mainly due to the nature of the entertainment are most of the time based on luck if you are in the relatively small agency. This is why big companies always tend to build an company cult followers aka 'company stan' to keep them on float the whole time

Dumb and Children sound so interesting. I haven't heard about Bvndit before, hope Girls Planet helps the group like it did for Nuest. Tbh it's really hard cause the oversaturation of kpop doesnt help, and u either need a good company behind u or a very famous member. Sometimes even the best music is ignored if the group isnt popular :/
I only found Bvndit this year, so I’m sad they haven’t had a comeback in so long. I know the current circumstances have been hard on a lot of groups from smaller companies, but hopefully the company doesn’t give up on Bvndit. I really like Dramatic and Dumb, those are my favourite of their songs.

Every time you post a video titled 'Why I'm Worried About ___", I kind of internally panic because you have an eerie ability for predicting disbandments.
i've loved bvndit ever since dumb first came out but i have to say.. the company's pr team is making some very questionable choices. earlier this year, they gave bvndit their first reality show and for most groups, that is a sign that a comeback is coming but after the show ended, literally nothing happened. they just continued posting on sns here and there. the company is even scouting male trainees now and even with seungeun joining girls planet 999, i am very worried about bvndit's future.
Yea exactly it’s so strange how they can manage chungha so well but then fuck up bvndit. But. I guess a part of that can just be Chungha herself as she is very popular and not the company
I blame the company of course but more in depth they're known because of Chungha and honesty BVNDIT's sound is a lot like Chungha, I'm guessing their brilliant idea was "oh people like Chungha's music so much so much... what if we do the girl group version of her" Hocus-pocus, Dramatic and Dumb Dumb are very reminiscent of Chungha, but I feel, people didn't necessarily wanted a girl group version of Chungha. And even though they are so talented and they slay so much those songs, it felt like the concept was very unfit to them, they're a hilarious group I feel a quirky concept would have fitted them more. I feel people didn't care much about them in their debut year because the music style wasn't very popular that year except for only Chungha's releases. I feel the company never bothered to build them a concept fitting to their personalities. That's why I feel they didn't took off, I love this girls and I wish the best for them, is so sad knowing how they're not showing us their talent. I do however believe they might have a comeback after Seungeun is eliminated from the show, seems like she will be in the next week, I think she managed to gain some audience, maybe that'll help to gain followers if they decide to make them a proper comeback.

Ik this is a result of money issues probably bc bicycle’s album didnt do as well they expected. Ive been following them since debut bc hocus pocus SLAPPED. Idk why mnh is driving the girls into the mud. They’ve released some covers and had a little variety show in feb earlier this year so i was expecting an April ish comeback and then i learned seugeun is going to be on girls planet 999 i was so disappointed. Btw my fave song is jungle and hocus pocus they slap sO HARD but so does all their songs, as you can tell by the Spotify streams(LMAO This is the first time I’ve seen more Spotify streams than views)

I'm so nervous for them, I've started exploring their music after Seungeun's gp999 audition and I'm really not ready to have another phenomenal girl group get discarded by their agency without any actual effort made by the agency to make them successful (I've been a Cheshire since 2016 it's taken a toll...)
MNH is still doing male auditions, debuted a ballad soloist, Chungha is coming back but there's still no BVNDIT... I think 2021 will end without them coming back. lets see if we'll get some news for 2022...
i’m really surprised that seungeun wasn’t very popular on gp999, she’s gorgeous, has the look that usually attracts stans, super talented and has a great personality. maybe because she got no screentime and i don’t know if her audition was even aired…
her audition was aired but not fully and they showed the strong reactions during it, after that she was the leader of her team and did well at that position until she made a mistake at the beginning of the performance and sadly her team lost

Welp This literally comes after they disbanded. They deserved better. I honestly saw they were gonna disband sooner or later. Not to mention they were mistreated, neglected cause of Chungha, then Chungha got mistreated too so she exposed MNH. Ofc it’s not their fault either because they struggled big time cause of Covid. I hope they all go under better agencies and/or places ❤️ They’re also planning to debut their 1st boygroup next year so there’s no telling how last they’ll long. I didn’t know much about Bvndit, but I found out about them when Carnival came out and have been a casual listener since. Their music isn’t exactly my taste but I do love some of their songs (like Dumb and Jungle), they have some true bops and they definitely deserve more recognition!
I was so thrown off when I saw Seungeun was on Girls Planet 999. I just wanted a comeback! Anyway, my favorite song is Children so far. Love the videos!

I was so sad Seungeun didn't get far in GP999. I had her as a favourite the whole time she was on there, before I knew she was a member of bvndit. Could've given her much more opportunities.
i really love them, i found them when dumb dropped and became a huge fan. i remember recommending them to friends too. it’s sad to see this, i feel like they had so much potential, but i fear you might be right when saying they’re out of time. i will still enjoy the songs they did release and hope for the best for them, whatever the best might be

I know it's easy to always blame companies for doing a bad job, but this is not the case. It's really expensive to give a group comebacks and promotions. After the pandemic they had lot of money issues, like many other companies. The smart thing to do would be to invest in another chungha comeback so they can make more revenue. Because she always does well and brings money. And later give the girls other songs 💗

I feel like the company is focusing on Chungha because she's the only one who is making it big and bringing in the money, which any company would love. Sad to see BVNDIT being practically abandon. Only 1 or 2 dance videos post whenever the girls can do or allowed to post on their IG.

The sets, stages, back up dancers, outfits and everything else… imagine what the company is left with money wise… let alone chungha. In other cases with bigger companies yes they can pool money from different pots but in this case it’s only her making majority of the cash

They're about to make it bigger after carnival but the company didn't take that chance. The facts that one of the members is participating in gp999 and members are m.i.a, pretty much show the company isn't pushing the group anymore but who knows. I hope the best for them
I'd love to hear you talk about nature, they haven't had a comeback in a year and they debuted only three years ago. They're a nine member girl group under nch.entertainment and they're the first (and now only) kpop group that company has had. For a bit their company also had a boy group they co-managed called TOO, but then their was some issue and they left and became TO1. They have a total of 20 songs, not counting japanese versions. Despite almost always being supposed to have nine members, only one comeback to my knowledge has had a full lineup. And that's just a few red flags, there's also things like the seemingly extreme diets the company puts the girls on, and the weird thing with photos of sunshine? Idk I'd suggest you look into it, I'd just really like more people to know about these girls and the issues they face due to management.
As soon as Seungeun was announced for GP999 I got the feeling that BVDIT’s best chance was her making it far but not making the final group so they could ride the popularity boost with an immediate comeback, with how the ranking looks like it’ll go I’m SUPER worried.
Bvndit is one of my top 3 kpop groups and I really hope the girls will get to release more music. I love their style so much and Dumb is one of my favourite songs :(

I found the girls last year at the beginning of the pandemic when we were all inside the house and then i bought their Carnival album signed from mwave i’ve been waiting for a comeback and to buy and support them again, but it seems their company has kinda given up on them, despite the group growing in popularity noticeably every single comeback. It’s so unfortunate how they put their whole into Chungha and Bvndit ends up getting nothing. This is of course in no way a diss towards Chungha, she’s not at fault the company isn’t managing their groups properly, but it’s still upsetting to see. Hope they come back soon or manage to stay as a group but be managed by someone else, i don’t want the girls to fade or disband because they have a soft spot in my heart
I have to say this after watching GP999: You see the only brief moment that Mnet mention BVNDIT was in ep 2 when all the debuted girls got emotional. But even then, it's just a small tiny little font on top of Seungeun dialogue and until now, they pretty much dont mention BVNDIT anywhere (Like LIMESODA got more screentime on the show than the time they mentioned anything BVNDIT). That makes me wonder, is MNH trying to erase Seungeun from BVNDIT? Like r they trying to make her a soloist then BVNDIT will be, you know, gone?

So I've been mentally greaving their disbandment and just hope that it could happen faster so the girls could at least re-debut.... i know, depressing AF but I've seen this happen way too many times before and yeah, unless they do a comeback soon i see little hope :c
The inclusion in GP999 could also be to try and do some "marketing" for the group, although at this point I can't really see it as that because I don't think she mentioned BVNDIT at all in the show? With Produce 48 GyuRi was included even though she is in Fromis_9, and in fact the group had a comeback without her. But she talked about Fromis in the show and made her "narrative" in produce that she wanted to be a better performer for her group, so all in all it seemed less about making it to the final lineup of Produce, and more about reviving interest in fromis (which I guess it worked? The group is still going on and I don't think they are doing bad)
Seungeun didn’t make it to the next episode of GP999 🥲 What I think is the company actually sent her to gain popularity for the group (as a Honey10, this is what TOP MEDIA did to Wooseok and Jinhyuk even though they said they didn’t want it at first) but now that Seungeun has been eliminated I guess this is a first call of a disbandment. But honestly the girls have quality videos and music so I believe MNH spent all its money on BVNDIT and went bankrupt (because Chungha also got several mvs the first half of the year + an international collaboration which is very expensive)

I have been really worried. Also wanted to buy Carnival but a lot companies last year had not restocked so I’m still waiting. I Also put them on my decade of favorite Kpop albums on my blog. MNH had to push back Chungha’s album possibly there are some budget issues and since Chungha is higher priority capital wise she would of course get pushed for promotion. I bought Chungha album but after reading comments that the album didn’t do so well is just mind blowing. But then again it was hard to buy albums now with the high cost of Shipping being in the hundreds.

Well, P Nation has never had an idol group before, they only have solo artists with built-in fanbases. They will get an idol boy group once the Loud show ends in a couple weeks, so we'll see how they're fare with them.

many of these kpop management agencies really baffle me....it seems like many of them are really unprepared to properly manage, promote, and take care of a group....i have never seen as many artists and groups debut per year than i have in the kpop industry and with most of these fledgling, unprepared, and underfinanced agencies ruining the lives of some very talented and promising kpop artists....it's crazy....i wish the very best for BVNDIT because i really like them and thought they were on their way to carving out a career for themselves in the ever oversaturated industry of kpop....

I think the company bet on the pandemic ending earlier and are paying for the consequences, figuratively speaking. It's not like BVNDIT did bad, its just that we forget that MNH isn't a big company to begin with that can support multiple groups at once easily. They made a gamble with BVNDIT that ended in bad timing, unfortunately. Heck, even Chungha is not exactly being super active right now other than some local ad placements. It's a company thing, not a BVNDIT problem.
I don't understand why they aren't trying to do now online concerts (if they didn't plan earlier because they were probably too optimistic about the pandemic ending), like a Chungha + BVNDIT or Chungha with BVNDIT as opening act... I think for groups like Dreamcatcher worked decently well until they can tour again...
I love BVNDIT, the girls are so talented and the vocals have always stood out to me. The tone of their voices is so unique and soothing. With that being said, had they continued their activities after the success of Jungle, they would have had a chance of success. Now, I think their comeback wouldn't do well. It's the same story with all these lesser-known groups from smaller companies: once you're out for a few months or longer - you're done. Nature, MOMOLAND and just some examples. It's the same as CRAXY. Again, I do love BVNDIT and I wish them all the best, but I just don't see how they can have a successful comeback now, or ever.

the thing about the final gp999 group is that mnet said they would promote them as a full group, but also in units so that the members can focus on other activities as well. seungeun would be able to promote with both groups if she makes it into the gp999 final lineup

I only found Bvndit this year, so I’m sad they haven’t had a comeback in so long. I know the current circumstances have been hard on a lot of groups from smaller companies, but hopefully the company doesn’t give up on Bvndit. I really like Dramatic and Dumb, those are my favourite of their songs.
Now that Seungeun is in Girls Planet I'm really scared for them....

i've loved bvndit ever since dumb first came out but i have to say.. the company's pr team is making some very questionable choices. earlier this year, they gave bvndit their first reality show and for most groups, that is a sign that a comeback is coming but after the show ended, literally nothing happened. they just continued posting on sns here and there. the company is even scouting male trainees now and even with seungeun joining girls planet 999, i am very worried about bvndit's future.
Yea exactly it’s so strange how they can manage chungha so well but then fuck up bvndit. But. I guess a part of that can just be Chungha herself as she is very popular and not the company
I blame the company of course but more in depth they're known because of Chungha and honesty BVNDIT's sound is a lot like Chungha, I'm guessing their brilliant idea was "oh people like Chungha's music so much so much... what if we do the girl group version of her" Hocus-pocus, Dramatic and Dumb Dumb are very reminiscent of Chungha, but I feel, people didn't necessarily wanted a girl group version of Chungha. And even though they are so talented and they slay so much those songs, it felt like the concept was very unfit to them, they're a hilarious group I feel a quirky concept would have fitted them more. I feel people didn't care much about them in their debut year because the music style wasn't very popular that year except for only Chungha's releases. I feel the company never bothered to build them a concept fitting to their personalities. That's why I feel they didn't took off, I love this girls and I wish the best for them, is so sad knowing how they're not showing us their talent. I do however believe they might have a comeback after Seungeun is eliminated from the show, seems like she will be in the next week, I think she managed to gain some audience, maybe that'll help to gain followers if they decide to make them a proper comeback.

Ik this is a result of money issues probably bc bicycle’s album didnt do as well they expected. Ive been following them since debut bc hocus pocus SLAPPED. Idk why mnh is driving the girls into the mud. They’ve released some covers and had a little variety show in feb earlier this year so i was expecting an April ish comeback and then i learned seugeun is going to be on girls planet 999 i was so disappointed.
Btw my fave song is jungle and hocus pocus they slap sO HARD but so does all their songs, as you can tell by the Spotify streams(LMAO This is the first time I’ve seen more Spotify streams than views)

her audition was aired but not fully and they showed the strong reactions during it, after that she was the leader of her team and did well at that position until she made a mistake at the beginning of the performance and sadly her team lost

Welp This literally comes after they disbanded. They deserved better. I honestly saw they were gonna disband sooner or later. Not to mention they were mistreated, neglected cause of Chungha, then Chungha got mistreated too so she exposed MNH. Ofc it’s not their fault either because they struggled big time cause of Covid. I hope they all go under better agencies and/or places ❤️ They’re also planning to debut their 1st boygroup next year so there’s no telling how last they’ll long. I don’t even expect them to last for more than a year knowing how trashy mnh us

I didn’t know much about Bvndit, but I found out about them when Carnival came out and have been a casual listener since. Their music isn’t exactly my taste but I do love some of their songs (like Dumb and Jungle), they have some true bops and they definitely deserve more recognition!
I was so thrown off when I saw Seungeun was on Girls Planet 999. I just wanted a comeback! Anyway, my favorite song is Children so far. Love the videos!

@@xyz-hs9ix I think she's alright with screen time. Not super prominent, but not forgotten. She did really great in the first group performance, imo. She ended up leading teaching the choreo.

I was so sad Seungeun didn't get far in GP999. I had her as a favourite the whole time she was on there, before I knew she was a member of bvndit. Could've given her much more opportunities.

i really love them, i found them when dumb dropped and became a huge fan. i remember recommending them to friends too. it’s sad to see this, i feel like they had so much potential, but i fear you might be right when saying they’re out of time. i will still enjoy the songs they did release and hope for the best for them, whatever the best might be

Sad but true, but MNH only cares about ChungHa. The fact that instead of having a comeback they put a member in GP999 doesn't look good for the group. I really like them, but apparently MNH has no idea how to handle a group.
I know it's easy to always blame companies for doing a bad job, but this is not the case. It's really expensive to give a group comebacks and promotions. After the pandemic they had lot of money issues, like many other companies. The smart thing to do would be to invest in another chungha comeback so they can make more revenue. Because she always does well and brings money. And later give the girls other songs 💗
@@dorar3941 Except, they gave ChungHa multiple pre releases and then a full album since BVNDIT's last comeback. That should have been enough for now to give BVNDIT at least a digital single, if nothing else.

I feel like the company is focusing on Chungha because she's the only one who is making it big and bringing in the money, which any company would love. Sad to see BVNDIT being practically abandon. Only 1 or 2 dance videos post whenever the girls can do or allowed to post on their IG.

@@um_runa consider what they pay for too…. Chungha may be the breadwinner of the company but look at her MVs. The sets, stages, back up dancers, outfits and everything else… imagine what the company is left with money wise… let alone chungha. In other cases with bigger companies yes they can pool money from different pots but in this case it’s only her making majority of the cash

The Company said she was too young to debut, they said they had plans for her but it was 2 years ago and she's still a trainee
They're about to make it bigger after carnival but the company didn't take that chance. The facts that one of the members is participating in gp999 and members are m.i.a, pretty much show the company isn't pushing the group anymore but who knows. I hope the best for them
I'd love to hear you talk about nature, they haven't had a comeback in a year and they debuted only three years ago. They're a nine member girl group under nch.entertainment and they're the first (and now only) kpop group that company has had. For a bit their company also had a boy group they co-managed called TOO, but then their was some issue and they left and became TO1. They have a total of 20 songs, not counting japanese versions. Despite almost always being supposed to have nine members, only one comeback to my knowledge has had a full lineup. And that's just a few red flags, there's also things like the seemingly extreme diets the company puts the girls on, and the weird thing with photos of sunshine? Idk I'd suggest you look into it, I'd just really like more people to know about these girls and the issues they face due to management.

As soon as Seungeun was announced for GP999 I got the feeling that BVDIT’s best chance was her making it far but not making the final group so they could ride the popularity boost with an immediate comeback, with how the ranking looks like it’ll go I’m SUPER worried.

I loved they're debut but after it I didn't really looked into them, when I founded out that one of the members are participating in Girls Planet 999 I got worried as (in my mind) that could be the last hope for the group (I feel like that with Fanatics members). The girls are really talented and I don't really understand the whole hiatus, like everyone just disappeared, then they came back to social media but still no explanation? That seems so weird if we take a look on they're growing popularity with they're most recent comeback, I'm really concerned and confuse, hope we get an explanation and to see girls again as a group

I found the girls last year at the beginning of the pandemic when we were all inside the house and then i bought their Carnival album signed from mwave
i’ve been waiting for a comeback and to buy and support them again, but it seems their company has kinda given up on them, despite the group growing in popularity noticeably every single comeback.
It’s so unfortunate how they put their whole into Chungha and Bvndit ends up getting nothing. This is of course in no way a diss towards Chungha, she’s not at fault the company isn’t managing their groups properly, but it’s still upsetting to see.
Hope they come back soon or manage to stay as a group but be managed by someone else, i don’t want the girls to fade or disband because they have a soft spot in my heart

I have to say this after watching GP999: You see the only brief moment that Mnet mention BVNDIT was in ep 2 when all the debuted girls got emotional. But even then, it's just a small tiny little font on top of Seungeun dialogue and until now, they pretty much dont mention BVNDIT anywhere (Like LIMESODA got more screentime on the show than the time they mentioned anything BVNDIT). That makes me wonder, is MNH trying to erase Seungeun from BVNDIT? Like r they trying to make her a soloist then BVNDIT will be, you know, gone?

I love them, I really do ... but I feel the same way, i think it's the end tbh. if Seungeun gets enough fame in girls planet 999 I think probably could get back to bvndit but it could (and will) backfire just like happened to many groups post i.o.i. So I've been mentally greaving their disbandment and just hope that it could happen faster so the girls could at least re-debut.... i know, depressing AF but I've seen this happen way too many times before and yeah, unless they do a comeback soon i see little hope :c
The inclusion in GP999 could also be to try and do some "marketing" for the group, although at this point I can't really see it as that because I don't think she mentioned BVNDIT at all in the show?
With Produce 48 GyuRi was included even though she is in Fromis_9, and in fact the group had a comeback without her. But she talked about Fromis in the show and made her "narrative" in produce that she wanted to be a better performer for her group, so all in all it seemed less about making it to the final lineup of Produce, and more about reviving interest in fromis (which I guess it worked? The group is still going on and I don't think they are doing bad)

What I think is the company actually sent her to gain popularity for the group (as a Honey10, this is what TOP MEDIA did to Wooseok and Jinhyuk even though they said they didn’t want it at first) but now that Seungeun has been eliminated I guess this is a first call of a disbandment.
But honestly the girls have quality videos and music so I believe MNH spent all its money on BVNDIT and went bankrupt (because Chungha also got several mvs the first half of the year + an international collaboration which is very expensive)

I have been really worried. Also wanted to buy Carnival but a lot companies last year had not restocked so I’m still waiting. I Also put them on my decade of favorite Kpop albums on my blog. MNH had to push back Chungha’s album possibly there are some budget issues and since Chungha is higher priority capital wise she would of course get pushed for promotion. I bought Chungha album but after reading comments that the album didn’t do so well is just mind blowing. But then again it was hard to buy albums now with the high cost of Shipping being in the hundreds.
I think Chungha's album was postponed (along with the pre-release X) because she tested positive to COVID-19 in December...

Well, P Nation has never had an idol group before, they only have solo artists with built-in fanbases. They will get an idol boy group once the Loud show ends in a couple weeks, so we'll see how they're fare with them.

many of these kpop management agencies really baffle me....it seems like many of them are really unprepared to properly manage, promote, and take care of a group....i have never seen as many artists and groups debut per year than i have in the kpop industry and with most of these fledgling, unprepared, and underfinanced agencies ruining the lives of some very talented and promising kpop artists....it's crazy....i wish the very best for BVNDIT because i really like them and thought they were on their way to carving out a career for themselves in the ever oversaturated industry of kpop....
Yes we are worried about them but we can't sit there and do nothing. We should support them as much as we can, streaming their mvs, their music on Spotify, posting about them on diff platforms and most importantly VOTE FOR SEUNGEUN AND HER CELL ON UNIVERSE APP PLEASE!
I think the company bet on the pandemic ending earlier and are paying for the consequences, figuratively speaking. It's not like BVNDIT did bad, its just that we forget that MNH isn't a big company to begin with that can support multiple groups at once easily.
They made a gamble with BVNDIT that ended in bad timing, unfortunately. Heck, even Chungha is not exactly being super active right now other than some local ad placements. It's a company thing, not a BVNDIT problem.
I don't understand why they aren't trying to do now online concerts (if they didn't plan earlier because they were probably too optimistic about the pandemic ending), like a Chungha + BVNDIT or Chungha with BVNDIT as opening act... I think for groups like Dreamcatcher worked decently well until they can tour again...
I love BVNDIT, the girls are so talented and the vocals have always stood out to me. The tone of their voices is so unique and soothing. With that being said, had they continued their activities after the success of Jungle, they would have had a chance of success. Now, I think their comeback wouldn't do well. It's the same story with all these lesser-known groups from smaller companies: once you're out for a few months or longer - you're done. Nature, MOMOLAND and just some examples. It's the same as CRAXY. Again, I do love BVNDIT and I wish them all the best, but I just don't see how they can have a successful comeback now, or ever.

the thing about the final gp999 group is that mnet said they would promote them as a full group, but also in units so that the members can focus on other activities as well. seungeun would be able to promote with both groups if she makes it into the gp999 final lineup
