Saitama wasn't way weaker than Garou at the beginning of the fight, he was in fact way stronger, so Garou copied his strength to match him and the reason he started growing so quickly was because he was basically fighting himself at that point, but he grew faster than Garou could copy his strength so that just goes to show how insanely fast his growth is. One second Garou is as strong as Saitama and the next second Saitama overshadows him in power by hundreds and soon thousands of times.
Edit: Also the stronger an opponent is, the faster Saitama grows. So if he grew that fast fighting Garou he'd literally grow billions of times faster fighting Goku.

You realize the saiyans have the exact power gaining abilities right ? I just seems like Saitama is jumping to such high levels so fast because of how much he has to catch up to any of his villains to saiyans strength. And the thing about exponential growth is it gets faster and faster. Let's give you an example. 2^4=16. Well, let's multiply that by 2 again and we get 32. In one single second, Saitama gets the same power multiplier added to his power, which took him four seconds to get before, then it'll take him one second to get from 32 to 64, adding another 32 onto that, and so on. You don't seem to grasp how fast exponential growth truly is. It doesn't matter that his villains are weaker, it matters that his growth surpasses every growth feat in Dragon Ball. Because, like I said before, if Goku grew exponentially like Saitama, he'd be way past Jiren in five seconds. Also, his growth will continue at this rate nonstop because he literally has zero limits, while Goku in the ToP was shown to have hit limit after limit, which he broke through, but compared to Saitama's growth, it'd get to the point where that doesn't matter anymore because he still has a finite amount of stamina unlike Saitama, because whenever he starts growing, all his stats grow too, including his stamina so he'll never get tired.
About the fight between Gojo and Saitama, there's one thing you totally forgot, it's not proven yet that Gojo can breathe or function in space. What if Saitama basically understands that Gojo has some sort of barrier so instead he will just insta-blow the whole planet making it so Gojo is hurt by the environment and lack of oxygen.
Second of all, the infinite barrier using mathematical calculations which basically means any number can divide and it will never reach zero at that term means it's infinite times dividable, but since Saitama according to the series maker has the power to enhance his power according to his opponent, meaning he will eventually make a powerful enough blow that will fucking shred Gojo into pieces, literally right thro Gojo's Infinite power, don't forget Saitama is faster than the speed of light

You need to realize that Saitama is Immortal. Cosmic Garou who had parts of God's power which Saitama also defeated God literally erased part of Saitama's head from existence and Saitama was able to pull back his missing head parts. His resistance breaks the logic of space and time it's unreal. Goku would land many attacks but Saitama would still be unfazed an as time progresses Saitama gets exponentially stronger

Alright so I could be wrong but while Goku has fought many Gods and probably went all out, Saitama has only fought one. While that might sound like Goku would win, when Saitama fought God he still didn't go into this strongest form, Serious mode. Goku has already shown his true potential, while Saitama has benched pressed the weight not one, but 2 black holes. Considering that the average black hole weighs 3-10 solar massess, this means that Saitama could've been benchpressing 20 solar masses of weight. Also he didn't show any sign of struggle when benchpressing, infact it actually looked like it wasn't problem for him. Still, it has been said that Saitama's strength is limitless and could destroy multiple universes'. So while Goku is mighty strong, Saitama has the potential to destroy Goku.
(Also I haven't watched Dragon Ball Z so I Could be seriously wrong)
Ive watched both and are a fan of both, but its the truth that Goku absolutely demolishes Saitama. And FYI, cover art isnt cannon (the black holes you mentioned) and Saitamas highest feat is destroying a high amount of galaxies. During Goku's fight with Lord Beerus, (The purple cat dude) he threatened to destroy the entirety of Universe seven. The macrocosm universe seven is made up from is infinitely expanding multiversal macrocosm, making Goku Multiversal in terms of scaling. this is a lowball, and Goku still wins.
Well, only thing to add is that at last point in fight with garou saitama learned a technique which makes him land his punch in any time in any place swapping result and cause. The thing is he forgot it, so if we count it then he beats Gojo and Giorno with ease because their abilities don't matter in this case anymore because damage of the punch lands before it even thrown. But it looks like it only possible to land this hit in the place where saitama has been, so it probably won't help against the Goku, it's not like he can travel back in time and punch him as a kid, but thought he can return in the beginning of the fight when he's stronger

I think you forgot that Saitama’s limitless strength kicks in the moment goku makes one punch that makes goku seem able to give a good fight so at the very minimum it’s a draw. Plus, I doubt they would kill each other because they are the only ones who can fight with each other and actually have fun going all out…
On another note, gojo can’t kill Saitama with domain expansion because Saitama doesn’t even care about all that stuff if you’ve seen him in the anime and manga that stuff would just be boring, thus not affecting him.

I'm on side Saitama when it comes to Goku, as Goku wants his opponents to be as strong as they can when they fight, and Saitama's strength can grow faster than instant copying until he makes an effective clone of himself (Garou Mode: Saitama) like an ant to him. Also, people saying Goku's speed is fixed to instant transmission is wrong because early series Goku had instant transmission but was never shown to move that fast outside of that technique.
