Perfect description , the clock disappears b for me too , I tried the evolution glasses but they didn’t work sadly so I place a piece of tape in the middle of the left lens on my prescription driving glasses I close one eye naturally but if my eye gets tired and opens I still have the tape in place to help some and so far so good :)

That's great to hear ! Eye dominance is one of those things, you have to try different things to see which ones actually work for you. Practice - Practice, unfortunately. I actually tried to squint using a technique mentioned by another viewer and it didn't work first time. But yesterday it did. How about that.

I am not necessarily considered cross eye dominant, but cannot close my left eye. I am right handed, otherwise. I learned to shoot at a very early age left-handed, I later found out my father had the same eye problem, and he too shot left-handed. On all my shooting glasses, I have installed a small opaque patch on the right lens, with help from the wife to get it aligned, this allows me to keep both eyes open for binocular vision, but blocks out the right eye when I am properly sighting along the shotgun rail. This technique also works well when shooting a scoped rifle, a lot less strain then trying to keep the right eye closed. I think a commercial version is called the "Magic Dot". This has worked for me for many years. Give it a try.

Hi, thanks for sharing your comments . You shoot with your left eye open and block the right eye with an opaque patch and shott left handed. You have adapted well to this style of shooting by the sounds of it and that's great to hear. I will consider this as well as we have club members using the same. But like anything, when you make changes to your current style of shooting, there is of course that fear of going backwards.

I am cross eyed dominate so after 50 years of shooting with one eye closed I learned to shoot left handed. Now I can shoot right and left hand with both eyes open.

That's great to hear. You found a solution which works either way for you and now you have the best of both worlds !

Great work! Seems like a new channel. I'd work on the sound. Each video is in mono and only uses one speaker.

Thank you and you are correct. I am aware of the sound issue which I am trying to fix. Im using gopro with hollyland lark. Been searching for a solution. Hopefully have it fixed shortly.

You don't need to fully close your left
eye. Close it a little bit to blur your sight is enough. The focus immediately shifts to your right eye.

Thank you for your suggestion. I will give a try at our next shoot and comment on how that worked compared to fully closing an eye. It certainly gives the shooter more options !

I actually tried this at the club and unfortunately it didn't work for me. I was hoping it would. I tried to focus too much on closing it a little instead of the clay target. I guess it comes down to practice, practice .
