Last cool fact, Dreamcatcher and Rolling Quartz met one when theirs promotions overlapped one time and even exchanged albums, also Jayoung and Youngeun are hardcore InSomnia's. About Rolling Quartz, they are a real hard rock band with each members being real experienced musicians, the main vocalist has also a formation of vocal coach. They mostly know for their song covers and some original songs and debuted in 2019 with a song called Blaze. Also, i should mention that they are not a band formed by a company but just some friends who decided to make music together. I recommend that you check them out and their stories because they are an amazing and VERY VERY talented rock band.
@@ErikaCh Just a couple of small corrections; they officially debuted on 30th December 2020 with Blaze; but they achieved their final form as Rolling Quartz in 2019 (August, I think). Yeong Eun and Jayoung were friends in high school who decided to form a band; they put out feelers and met up with Hyunjung to become a three-piece, _Rose_ Quartz. Then they were later put in touch with Arem and Iree, who were playing with a band called Rolling Girlz at the time, and they joined forces. I think Rolling Girlz were already with Rolling Star Entertainment, and with the merger, now RQ are under that label.

You can see several of the same props in both mv's like the chandelier, the wall panels etc. It very much looks like the same location. The rq girls are insomnia as well, so they covered several dc songs in the past. They uploaded the good night cover last year and also played it in their online concerts, which are still on their yt channel. So great to see that they got a deal with dcc to do a full retail release of this one! 🥰👏 The dreamcatcher girls seem to like this version as well. They shared it on their insta reels and sua talked about it on her sbs radio show as well. Maybe we can see them share a stage at some point. Dc goes with a live band in their concerts, so never say never. 🤞😉
I totally stan Rolling Quartz and I'm an Insomniac as well. RQ definitely did this justice and brought their own sound to an already awesome song. Ever notice how the opening guitar melody is the chorus vocal melody? Yes, they're all extremely pretty young ladies, but dang, can they RAWK. If you haven't done so already, definitely react to their song "Azalea", which is based on a poem by Kim So-wol, a very popular Korean poet. It's one of their best, IMO.

And Hyunjung has at least one on each hand (her left has the Rolling Quartz crystal)... You noticed some kind of theme, but couldn't place it. The description says that the girls are trying to formulate a sixth sense through the other five senses. As it turns out, like Dreamcatcher each representing a kind of nightmare in _their_ Good Night MV, here, each member represents one of the _senses._ Arem = sound (listening to records and cassettes, playing her bass, whispering into Hyunjung's ear) Iree = vision (filming everything, including Arem, and at one point she's the only member _not_ blindfolded) Yeong Eun = touch (stroking the busts, playing with Iree's hair) Jayoung = taste (the meat, wine and cake; attempting to feed Yeong Eun) Hyunjung = scent (roses and perfume) The connection to Deukae's Good Night video has been mentioned, but the entire set is one of DCC's, and was used _at least_ in Deukae's Odd Eye Dystopia dance video (where Handong revealed herself from behind the mask): ua-cam.com/video/-F-yIA_pwxI/v-deo.html ; and the chandelier can also be seen in the "Last Supper" segments of their Deja Vu MV. 6:25 Oh, yeah, they are _loaded_ with personality, which absolutely _shines_ in their live performances. They don't do that when they're actually performing (unless the venue/TV show demands it because they're weird and don't like live performances), but yeah, here obviously it _has_ to line up with the studio recording, so they can't really afford to risk ad-libbing it.
