I can only see reconciliation as a possibility with those who practice contrition. Otherwise, there is no path forward.

I seen your last video discussing the election and I have never heard someone explain Trump the way you did. Concerning the dirty job it is to clean up the swamp that is DC. I voted Trump all 3 times and would vote him in again if he could run again. You are absolutely right we need someone like him to get the job done. Thanks for the insight.

Wow, Rob ... I just had a similar conversation with my wife and we touched on ALL of your points made (especially the 1 in 7). Thanks for sharing both your analyses and your "time to get to work" attitude.
    The word IS Sharp.

Thank you Rob for your voice. I don't think we fully appreciate how we really dodged a bullet on this one....literally & figuratively. So grateful to the Lord for His mercy. Hopefully, we will not take Him for granted.

@@ryanfry390 Yeah, me too. I wasn’t really at all worried about losing it overnight. I stayed up for his speech. Figured if a 78-year-old man who had just completed the most awesome political feat in human history wanted to talk to me at 2 am, I should probably stay up and listen. I could just tell from his tone and demeanor that he knew it was safe.
The Great Ronald Reagan will never be surpassed as the prototype of an American President. But for very different reasons and in even more different ways, Trump is a great President as well. He’s a scrappy, relentless, cunning and loyal warrior President. And in a time when our nation feels like its best days are behind it, and that its government is the cause of most of our collective problems, we need that President. What happened yesterday shows that we now WANT that President. And even after we threw him over for Sleepy Joe, he loves this country and her people enough to come to our rescue, to be our champion, again. Pretty special dude.

Just as a heads up, the 1/7th number isn't federal government, that number applies to federal, state, and local. It's ~1.8% in federal, 3-4% state, and 10-12% local. Local government includes public school teachers, law enforcement, and public services provided by cities and counties. Collectively, that's around 14.8 to 17.8%, or somewhere around 1/7.

I don't think much "reconciliation" is in the cards, Rob, half of voters don't want a dishonest, unethical, self-aggrandizing president who doesn't respect the Constitution the way most Americans do. However, I do think a *deeper understanding of the people who elected Trump a second time* is in order. Us bedwetting liberals need to more fully grasp what the rest of the country is saying and wanting, have to come to terms with working citizens some of whom are raising large families & struggling, and without doubt must better secure the border (something most Dems actually want). If we can come together on those things we may be able to have a functioning nation with less strife. So here's hoping for that. Better candidates would also be helpful (Josh Shapiro 2028). Cheers.

"half of voters don't want a dishonest, unethical, self-aggrandizing president who doesn't respect the Constitution"
That's why we voted for Trump and not Harris.

Let’s hope we can ALL come together and heal the country, Kamala conceding the 2024 election is a great start, I pray Trump will finally concede the 2020 election as well.

      Lol.
And what are you going to say when his DOJ proves it was stolen?
Where did the 20 million votes Biden used to beat him go?
      *******
What are you going to say when J6 actually was a fed Reichstag fire setup by the Democrats?
You should get ready to re-evaluate your useful "person" beliefs.

    • @Quest723The
      @Quest723The Місяць тому

I hope you'll concede that the Democrats weaponized the DOJ against J6ers, illegally depriving them of rights for years, as well as costing Trump at least $6 million a year in legal fees.
I hope you feel Trump has the same right to govern as the Democrats have the last 4 years.

@ I said that comment with my eyes rolling, there is no way he will concede, I’m just happy he won so he didn’t falsely claim another fraudulent election and LITERALLY cause a second civil war just because he’s a narcissistic sociopathic who developed a personality disorder in his formative years which keeps him from accepting losing no matter at what cost or crime…AGAIN
