The purpose of Blinken's surprising, unannounced trip to Kyiv was, surely not just to tell Zelensky, that American weapons

NATO is not "escalating the war in Ukraine".
NATO is just prolonging the war in Ukraine.

because now, it has became obvious to them, how badly they miscalculated Russia's

Yet, Igor Sikorsky was ethnically Russian. He was not Catholic, he was not Ihor but Igor, his planes literally had Russian names e.g Ruski vitjaz.

More important these packages won’t make any difference since Ukrainian army is on back foot. With less soldiers less motivated armed force. Things are looking dire for Ukraine
