Biker Boyz is a 2003 American sports action drama film, directed by Reggie Rock Bythewood and written by Bythewood and Craig Fernandez, based on the 2000 New Times LA article of the same name by Michael Gougis. The film is about a group of underground motorcycle drag racers, and the intense rivalry between a legendary motorcyclist and a young racing prodigy who has formed his own biker club.
The film features an ensemble cast including Laurence Fishburne, Derek Luke, Meagan Good, Djimon Hounsou, Brendan Fehr, Rick Gonzalez, Larenz Tate, Terrence Howard, Orlando Jones, Salli Richardson, and Kid Rock.[2] It also features Lisa Bonet and Vanessa Bell Calloway. - Розваги
I Love 2003 definitely 1 of my Favorite Years For Movies IMO
This movie is so early 2000s. It's definitely style over substance. My younger brother rides a motorcycle and he's in a biker club. But he doesn't ride the so-called "crotch rockets" like in this movie. He's into Harley Davidson motorcycles 🏍️ there's a way better portrayal of black motorcycle clubs on the TV show Sons of Anarchy called the Grim Bastards. This movie is ok but it falls into the category of the Fast and Furious type movies. There hasn't really been a good movie in recent years that shows biker gangs that would be R rated. And of course because it's a black biker movie they gotta spell Boys with a Z. 😄

I really Like Laurence Fishburne he's a Great Actor, very Charismatic & Talented, not 1 of my favorite actors but I Like him, I Love Red Heat, King of New York, Boyz N The Hood, Fled, Event Horizon, The Matrix 1, Mystic River, Assault On Precinct 13 Remake, Mission Impossible 3, Bobby Z, Fantastic 4 2 2007, Armored 2009, Predators, Man of Steel, Standoff 2016, John Wick 2 & 3, & Last Flag Flying are my Favorites & Bests of his IMO
1 of the few things I Liked was Kalifornia by Mos Def that's 1 of my favorite songs by him, that's 1 of the Few good things about Biker Boyz IMO
Definitely not good of the movie but it’s still nostalgia. I do think Antwone fisher is Derrick best role with Denzel Washington.
I watched this once in the year it was on DVD and it's less than a blur to me (pun intended).
I Love Spartan, Miracle At St. Anna, & Captain America 2011 are my favorites of Derek Luke
I Love Torque Matt, that's a Great & very Underrated Fun Action Film IMO, Great Action, Ice Cube, Matt Shulze, & Jamie Pressly did a Great Job, Well Directed & Written, My Only Issue is although Martin Henderson was Fine in Torque, but he Lacked Charisma IMO, I thought Thomas Jane, Timothy Olyphant, Karl Urban, or Colin Farrell would have been Better Lead Choice IMO, but Still Love Torque, Miles Better then Biker Boyz & Need For Speed, definitely 1 of my Favorite Action Films of 2000's & 1 of my Favorites of Ice Cube Too❤
Matt, you would've had a "good time" if you went to high school with me/was in the same grade as me. When I was in 9th grade, I had a couple classmates that highly praised this movie. Now, it's okay to like the movie, but I think they got too extreme on stuff. They were saying it was better than the first two Fast & Furious movies (since we only had two back in 2003), and if they heard you preferred the Fast & Furious movies over Biker Boyz, you better start running. They would do terrible stuff to you (UA-cam would probably auto-delete/auto-hide my comment if I went into more detail). Or get ready for humiliation because they would spread terrible rumors about you throughout the school. I think I finally watched the movie sometime in 2004. Like during the summer and when I wouldn't be able to see classmates for a very long time and they wouldn't get my thoughts on it. I might've watched it as early as Spring Break 2004 (I was in 9th grade for the 2003-2004 school year). I think I found the movie on HBO or Starz back in the day. I am glad I watched it when I did. I did not like the movie. I can't remember a single thing about it. Even after watching the review, I still can't recall anything that was mentioned. But if those classmates heard my thoughts, I'm sure something bad would've happened to me. Well, they picked on me already and spread SOME false rumors about me, but it wasn't anything too extreme. Plus I think by 11th grade I stopped seeing them around the school. I didn't have any classes with them and with how my schedules for 11th and 12th grade were, I never saw them between classes. So they kind of stopped picking on me and stuff. But I think they overpraised and hyped up the movie too much. It's fine if they like it, but I think they got too carried away on praising it and hyping it. The Fast & Furious movies were way better. I want to say I liked Torque more as well.
0:43 To me I feel this film was marketed wrong the trailers made it seem like it's going to be a wannabe"The Fast&Furious" film which it wasn't it's a more of coming of age drama so I didn't mind it for that plus I remember not minding the cast involved either but that's just me bro.

4:25 He was one of the producers of this film from what I read up online one time he knew the writer/ director for years since they both was into motorcycles together as their hobby and such since"The Matrix" was a very big hit for him so he was able to help the director get this film made.
Sorry bro I could see this film wasn't for you yes this film wouldn't be in my list of favorite films of 2003 but I could still watch this film as a time waster I didn't mind Derek Luke& Laurence Fishburne along with the wrest of the cast I don't mind certain songs from the soundtrack in the film too. To me this film took itself too seriously. And the unlikable characters didn't make the film any better. Torque is the film I'm into.
I agree with all of that. Torque at least was fun.
Great Job Matt, personally I Agree Biker Boyz is a Mediocre Film, but I Enjoy it as a Time Waster, I thought Laurence Fishburne, Djimon Hounsou, & Larenz Tate did a Good Job, I Enjoyed Some of the Racing Scenes, but it's a very Flawed Movie, cause the Story was pretty Uninteresting, Characters were Underdeveloped, Action Scenes are Nothing Special, & I Like Derek Luke he's a very Talented Actor IMO in some of his other films Glory Road, Notorious, & Miracle At St. Anna he did a Good Job in those films, but I don't think he's has the Charisma like Laurence Fishburne, Terence Howard, Djimon Hounsou, & Larenz Tate are Way Better Actors IMO to carry a movie, I Prefer Fast & Furious 1, 2, 4, 5, 7, 8, Hobbs & Shaw, Transporter 1 & 2, Crank Films, Death Race 2008, & Torque were Way More Fun & Entertaining Action Movies IMO
To be fair most things Kid Rock do are bad. He has a bad taste
