Admire your wife’s efforts of programming for school children. In India we are trying to popularise this as art form or model making to attract general people to origami. Though it is very popular in engineering and design schools. People are innovating with the help of Origami. In the field of space and medicine packaging lighting etc we see Origami everywhere.
I have enjoyed folding all my life from the everyday tasks around the home to my first job as a shirt folder ( long time ago) I have always thought about the meditative qualities and philosophical links. I thank you for your talk, it has answered a lot of questions for me and opened up many more.
A very eye opening talk for people like me who does origami for fun or to revive my brain cells by activating my finger tip nerves. Thank you sir. I too have folded some of your easier items. Preeti. New Delhi looking forward to your online programme for our Origami Oritai club.
Definitely imformative but you have to question the validity of the information when he has an entire essay talking about origami and never once mentions the creators of it .
Huh, never thought Paul Jackson himself would be on UA-cam. Tutorials of his models are in the hundreds on the platform. Hearing the world-renowned artist himself give a lecture must've been a privilege.
Art or not art - I agree, „Origami is no art“. As oil or watercolor per se is no art, neither playing saxophone or Organ or singing. They all are technics. But few people do art with them. - Or not, as the most of us.
probably best example of propaganda)))/// this artist actually not artist or teacher - in fact, he is manipulator like populist politicians...
Excelente, muy interesante y divinamente presentado, gracias maestro, por compartir su conocimiento.
