Goff is the best QB in the league. He always has been. Just needed a coaching staff that believes in him like Detroit does. Hell he was the one that wanted to go for it on 4th and 1 with 45 seconds left in the game in a 31-31 tie game.
@@dontworryaboutit5490 he's always been. he didn't earn the nickname mr. perfect in college and bring the rams to a superbowl because he hasn't "always been" buddy
...As a Life long Lions fan it is so sweet to see our team hitting on all cylinders. We Detroit fans have been suffering thru a drought for so long that , at 74 years old, that it;s so cool to see em playing so good is probably my Last Hurrah I'll see. Thanks guys!
I love that they have so many things they can do. Constantine said, "He who defends everything defends nothing." If they set up for a run play they do a short pass, if they set up for a pass play they run a few yards and go again, if they set up for a punt they do a fake. I like that they only seem to do what needs to be done, nobody is being a glory hog. Whoever has the best opening gets the ball and a first down in a first down. They have discipline. I don't want to say they will win the Superbowl, I don't want to jinx it.
You've got your analysis down great! I believe that with the right culture and tools available, a LOT of past QBs could have been great, but unlike Goff and Brady, they never found a system that could support them and allow them time to develop into thier potential.
Jared Goff goes in for a touchdown this game; Ben Johnson has a habit of doing what other teams are good at, so I wouldn’t be surprised to see him put in a few Jared Goff sneaks to runs in low yardage goaline situations.
He’s a great QB but Detroit is a weak market, Buffalo, KC, Baltimore, Green Bay, SF QBs get all the press. If Detroit doesn’t win the Super Bowl he won’t get any love. It’s a shame as I think he’s the best storied QB since Kurt Warner.
MID RECEIVERS?! Amon-Ra is one of the best receivers in the league, Jamo is one of the fastest players in the league and has good hands and is improving his route running. Sam Laporta is a really good TE, and Tim Patrick is having a very solid year, especially lately. Idk how that's mid
Show a Goff play where he makes things up out of the pocket? Never happens. He is just a product of a great system. This offense should never punt. Jared Allen, Lamar Jackson or Mahomes with this team, with his contract this team is a dynasty.
Dude is transforming into Tom Brady. Brady was great for so long because he got the ball out quick and had elite pocket presence and accuracy. That throw he made to Tim Patrick off his back foot into the back of the end zone with the house coming at him was ridiculous @@pi3man252
Not turning the ball over? He threw 5 interceptions in 1 game, Goff is barely an ok QB Laporte, st brown, wright, Gibbs and Montgomery are what make Goofy look much better than he is.....kinda like Mitchell breaking records in the 90's only because he had Barry and a bunch of receivers that made it look easy
Yeah he also has 2nd place for most passes without an interception and had 4 perfect half's and 1 perfect game. FYI goff is 4 and 4 with 4 interception or more in games.

He's a mirror image of Tom Brady people are seriously sleeping on how good Goff really is
He hasn’t “always been”, he’s grown tremendously since playing for the rams
Jared Allen. I am a Lions fan. Would rather have him or that type of QB. Plays break down and he folds. Yes Goff is accurate AF within 20 yards.
@@AndrewVanLeeuwen-wu9beNope, I'm calling 🧢🧢🧢. No Lions fan would post that comment. You're a Marla Singer.

at the very least, this is a Superbowl caliber team....😎

Great analysis. Thanks for the breakdown.

Nice work! Thank you!
I kinda wish they would have this view on tv

I definitely expect the RPO in the playoffs. Goff is good at the hand-off.
Summary - 1, 2, 3, rip it!

Sam Darnold will get more love than Goff somehow. Goff never gets any love from anyone outside of Detroit. BS.

Goff is an absolute surgeon. He has very mid WR's too. Imagine if he had Calvin Johnson, or Puka and Cooper Kupp. ONG

Mid WRs...? Is this bait?
@EricThomason Either that or he's just a fantasy watcher. Doesn't watch the game, just the fantasy points

He's literally the best in the league at throwing from the left. Go learn football then come back.
Ha nope goffs pocket movement is elite. He is not very mobile but he has some scramble in him. He doesn't need to be when he's accurate as fuck.

@ ya may wanna do some research instead of reading the internet. He’s not even close to to having 8 game with 4 picks
