Changing the DNS server will NOT improve ping. It only improves the time it takes for it to lookup the IP for the domain being used. Which is cached right after. Meaning that it won't do that lookup again. So you're ping won't change. Ways you can improve ping are: * Using ethernet instead of wifi. * Having a glasfiber connection. * Having a good ISP. * Moving closer to the servers.

I used to get about 110 ping on na west ( Cali ) server but now I get about 170 pings one NA east (Virginia) which is the least laggy ping I can get on my NA account which doesn’t even make sense coz japans more close to west coast . It’s not my internet I get 8 ping in Tokyo server . I tried this method didn’t work . Pls help me
This method only help you reduce ping,works best in your own region and server,if youre playing on other region it might be even laggier or only reduce 1-2 ping

i dont know what to do anymore because my computer is a windows 10, its using AMD Radeon, but it shows low client fps, high ping, AND network problem. I tried fixing it all but its probably just my computer.
@@Vurdum it could be region specific. DNS servers are physically located somewhere, in this case both google and cloudflare have servers all over so it doesn't matter but it's not a given
@@fridge2902 because it's not a stable fix, DNS has to do with privacy and just changing it "could" fix your problem for a short time, but can also make it worse. Find the proper issue instead, be it router fix or that your ISP is the issue

Never use wireless connectivity. Always use an ethernet connection. It is going to give you better and more stable ping.

Could be massive traffic on your connection, or your lan cable is not inserted properly/ is dusty. If you use wifi then switch to lan
