Well Evangelist Karen Clark Sheard has been known for doing runs since she was a teenager. When you see her name in the title of a UA-cam video, you know before hand that there are going to be riffs and runs. To some they may be overdone, but to her fan base and the people who support her ministry by purchasing cd's and buying tickets to concerts and plays , these so called, "overdone" runs are what we love and come to expect. When people express their, "entitled, " negative opinions, JUDGING and convicting an extremely anointed Evangelist on how she uses her gift it's just off putting and this is really not the appropriate place for that.

We have had too much Entertainment in the Black church. God is Holy Holy Holy and He is not impressed with our vocal ability but He does require our obedience to His Word. How you live for Christ is way more important than how you sound. The Gospel music industry is infected with sin, disobedience, and ungodly lifestyles that are contrary to The Word of God. May God grant each of us Grace to return to Holiness because without it we can not see God. 🙏🏾
