They are making good money with album sales etc, thats all that really matters. Wins are a nice bonus, but most important is that they do make a good living out of their work. Would be nice to see that public appreciation though. 🤞
Thank you for bringing attention to this absolute travesty. Dreamcatcher is the longest running kpop group (that is currently active and has never disbanded) who has no music show wins - this is beyond ridiculous. Here's to hoping for better outcomes for this year and beyond... (EDIT: and that is not even including their time as MINX)

I have a personal theory based on the Mera's video "dodging disbandment and other extreme sports a history of Dreamcatcher" : Since they left "Mix Nine" just before the volcano exploded, DC's company is probably not in a good relationship with some sources of influence in the industry. 🤔 I'm not targeting YG necessarily, but I guess you have probably more stakeholders in such kind of project. 🤑
Blackpink doesn't appear on shows that often and I heard that YG has bad relations with some shows. But YG does have enough money to bribe shows. Happyface sued YG due to the closure of Nix Nine. Considering their Korean fanbase is so small (comparatively speaking) the fact that they placed second so many times is pretty remarkable. My problem is when the show tries to influence the outcome. Any system that has some sort of "expert" input (you know who I'm talking about) is immediately suspect. There have been other instances, like some temporary rule changes, that have allowed the show to influence the outcome. Is there some kind of deep state conspiracy in place to keep Dreamcatcher from winning first place? I seriously doubt it. But some of the things that some of these shows have pulled in the past is seriously suspicious.
It really does feel like shows are stealing wins from our girls. Considering that the Korean audience isn't interested in dark concepts and rock. And considering that they are very conservative, there is a chance that shows did give fewer or even negative points than they should've since we know that it is possible (deja vu)

Thanks for making this. I only came to stan them during Boca era and only participate diligently on vote during Because era. And seeing these numbers make me more hype and energize to stream and fight for the first win. I means, of course the album sales getting higher and higher and yesterday I even saw it surpass 28k sales. But still, we need that first win. Not that its for the proof that they are good, cuz they always making bops every comeback. But still, yeah, I have the feeling this comeback will be history. They keep making good music, feeding us with content, at least, lets gather force Insomnia. Lets fight !

digitals have been the biggest part of why it is hard for them to get a win. there have been more and more korean insomnia these past comebacks so hopefully we see a shift in those numbers the next comeback wich could secure a long awaited win. at least i hope so. edit: the "proffecional score" or whatever it is called is also allways been really low but eaven wit extremly low digitals and proffecional scores we have still been close so many times so we dont need much more before it could happen

Maybe Dreamcatcher Company should break out of their K-Industry shell...target more foreign market & gather new foreign fans, open new InSomnia membership for fans outside Korea...open new branches outside South Korea to hire new groups/ solo artist from other country under DCC label...if you can't be the big 4 K-Pop company...then be another 'Universal Music, Warner Music, Sony Music etc...too many competition & obstacles in your homeland, so the only way to get more exposure & attention is to move out and create your own empire outside the shell...
This isn't how it works. DCC isn't the biggest company. Nowhere close to Sony Music. They wouldn't debut another group when they have DC. Also, they were originally targeting foreign audiences instead of Korean. From Fly High they went on different tours around the world
@@blogus9544 No, I think you misunderstand what I'm trying to say...I know DCC isn't the biggest company, so technically they not as big as Sony Music etc...and I know that they always target foreign fans from the start...that is why I suggest them to go outside the bubble of K-Pop...concentrate on making their company bigger...almost all big entertainment company today also started as a small company like DCC....they need to change strategy, open new branches outside Korea one by one...started from any country in South East Asia first..also they can collab with Rock & Metal musician from that region to work together with Leez and Ollounder...

Korean music show wins don't really mean anything in the big picture. Album sales, merch and concerts determine a groups staying power. the "big 3/4" know this and dont give a f about awards. DC may have no wins but they are invited to respected music festivals, have many global firsts and are financially solid. And why is it normal to have weekly music awards, on multiple channels too. 🤔 comparison think of the US Grammys being held weekly would almost make getting one not mean anything - some would argue even now it doesn't mean much. Some hugely respected musicians haven't got a Grammy. If they got one, cool. But I'd rather have them stay active for many years putting out great music vs getting a win and disappear like so many of their 3rd generation counterparts.
