I just did the gasket on a 2002 cr-v with over 200K on it to stop leak as well as stop VTEC check engine light code (P1259) I believe it was. The gasket was broken, screen was plugged, and the spool valve had a knockout in the trace where the gasket goes. not sure how someone could have broken that but anyway, I figured if it's been that way for so long, I'll just put a new gasket on it, torque it to about 7.2 - 7.5 ft lbs and it stopped the code and the leak. Pain to get to back there though. You can do it some from wheel well, but I wound up doing it over the top like you. Looks like they added an additional bolt on this newer model year. Good job.
Thank you for the very fine details and your patience. I know it is not easy to do the work and shooting at the same time.

What's the part number of this gasket?
This should have many more views and likes . Algorithms or just UA-cam 🤔
@sheerwillsurvival2064 that's wild... must've accidently unsubbed. Just like butt dialing this can happen
@ I guess I am tech challenged 🥴
