Bharatha Peroli Bharathi

A Tamil Drama on the life and times of Shri. Subramania Bharathi. Produced by the Shanmukhananda Theatre Group, Mumbai.
This drama is conceived, written and directed by Smt. Santhosh Rajan.
A special mention has to be made regarding the actor who played the lead role of Shri. Subramania Bharathi - Late Shri. P. Ponnambalam, who did the role marvellously. Shri. Ponnambalam had contributed a lot to this play. He had also contributed to the script of this play.
The role of Bharathi's Puducherry friend was played by Late Shri. Lakshminarayanan (Babu), who did a good job in his role.
This is a, two hours plus drama, please do enjoy the same.

இந்த நாடகம் பாரதியின் வாழ்க்கையை பிரதிபலிக்கும் ஒரு காவியம். பாரதியாக வலம்வரும் கதாபாத்திரம் அனைத்து காட்சிகளிலும் தனது முத்திரையை பதித்து செல்கிறார். அவரின் உடல் மொழி, வசன உச்சரிப்பு என மனுஷன் பாரதியாகேவே வாழ்த்திருந்திருக்கிறார். குறிப்பாக பசியில் வரும் பாரதி தன் மனைவி செல்லம்மாளிடம் உணவு கேட்பதும், அவரின் தர்க்கங்களும் மிக நேர்த்தி. This scene is a masterpiece within a master piece. மற்ற அனைத்து கதாபாத்திரங்களும், செல்லம்மாள் உட்பட, did justification to their roles. அளவான நேர்த்தியான இசை. Well scripted and directed. Still I cherish it.

Very refreshing to see this play. Really missing all the live action. Missing Dear PONNAMBALAM sir . Who else could have do ne justice to the role of bharatiyar! Can't forget you dear sir. Great show by santosh mami and her team!
