SO good to have a version with no "drama" and no music. Theologically the ultimate narrator of Scripture is the Holy Spirit, So having the same speaker throughout is appropriate. Also I am a composer and I find the wishy-washy music so often found to accompany the Bible is if anything worse than UA-cam relaxation music. The Bible is quite dramatic enough when properly read. Job 26. Job understood that light was within a circle drawn around the earth. Even before the creation of the sun, there was light on one side and darkness on the other. In 24 he talks about the wicked who rebel against light. And he mentions cold and the "snow waters." Job also understands that lightning comes from the snow clouds, from the highest clouds. Does Job understand creation as the brooding of the spirit of God over icy waters? I can picture this as the beginning of creation--lightning from crystalized water on the surface/face of the deep. We would expect that light to speed away, but it seems to have remained within boundaries of the horizons. Where is the center of this circle? Wow. There is so much information. And this is the oldest writing!? And the wickedness and cruelty of mankind is so very great. Here, in 2023, we have watched as the wicked have systematically filled the offices of government. And taught our children lies. Job understood that light was encoded with language. We know that our bodies are formed from a single sperm cell and an ovum? There is enough language encoded there to create 30,000,000,000 individual cells. And each of those cells are encoded with specific directions. And, yes, lighning is also encoded with language. God still speaks. And the wicked still rebel.
