Just one comment here; in Holy Quran 3:55, God states that he will place the followers of Isa Ibn Maryam (AS) above all others that Reject faith. In my humble non-scholarly opinion, I think Muslims are now the true followers of Isa Ibn Maryam (AS), for the Original message, which was completed through Prophet Mohammad (SAW). In Holy Quran 5:72 and 5:73, God is very harsh on those who claim Trinity (the current so-called followers), and by no means are these placed above anyone else, in fact they should await a grievous penalty from God in the hereafter. Just saying that we should differentiate from the original blessed followers versus the current followers of Isa ibn Maryam (AS).

A people can't be followers of a Prophet if they do not follow his teachings, believe in contrary teachings (4) accept ALL PROPHETS that come and confirmed each other (Quran 3:81) (5) believe and follow the UNLETTERED Prophet (Quran 7:157) Etc. Etc. Etc. ONLY MUSLIMS qualify, per the Quran, as followers of Prophet Jesus. Those who believe in Trinity and the Divinity of Jesus are called DISBELIEVERS (Quran 5:72-73), and are forbidden to enter Paradise (Quran 5:72). Followers of a Prophet are not DISBELIEVERS (polytheists) but BELIEVERS (monotheists). Christians are automatically disqualified as followers of Jesus, based on their beliefs.

The fact that Essa A.S. was sent to the Israelites doesn’t mean he cannot be the ruler of the Muslim ummah. After all he was a Prophet of Allah whose mission was not completed because Allah raised him up to Himself. The Sharia of the different Prophets were different but their mission was the same. Allah sent the Sharia which was appropriate for the people of that time. Since Rasul Allah s.a.w. is the last Prophet the Sharia he was sent with will remain till the end of time. Essa A.S. will rule according to that Sharia. There is nothing strange about Essa A.S. praying behind a Muslim imam.
If we believe Sheikhs interpretation of plurality of believers, in that there are two Ummah, one Ummah is the Ummah of Prophet Muhammad Pbuh and the other Ummah being the Ummah of Jesus pbuh, and that both are believers. Then know this that Quran was sent for all of mankind not just for Muslims, and every time in Quran Allah swt says “Oh You who have believe” or “Oh you who profess faith” followed by a command then its applicable to both Ummah. Any of the two Ummah failing to adhere to those commandments will be in violation of God’s law. And we know that’s not the case as the so called Ummah of Jesus doesn’t believe in Quran, forget about adhering to it! Secondly, Sheikh argues there is no evidence of abrogation (Naskh), the biggest proof of abrogation of previous faith is the coming of Prophet Muhammad pbuh himself, b/c Quran states that he was sent to All of Mankind, and that includes the Ummah of Jesus, last I check Ummah of Jesus were human beings and part of mankind. Which means that anyone from mankind after they come to know of the truth (Quran) that came with Prophet Muhammad pbuh and still doesn’t believe in it is in violation of God’s Law! And if he were to believe & adhere to it the plurality of Ummah will be non-existent. Secondly, when Jesus returns, he returns to a masjid in Demascus and runs into Muslim during Fajr time. Meaning when Allah swt returns him to earth first and foremost it is to a Masjid, if Allah swt so willed he could have returned him to a Cathedral and to his Ummah, but he is not going to do that. Jesus pbuh prays fajr according to the way of Prophet Muhammad pbuh b/c previous Sharia has been abrogated by Sharia of Muhammad pbuh, he doesnt lead the prayer b/c he is not send with any additional message, he is sent to break the cross and kill the swine as mentioned in hadith, which is symbolic to say he will abrogate his sharia for his ummah to follow the sharia of Muhammad pbuh, uniting into a single community of believers.

Also the Prophet went on to say that Nabi 'Isa alayhi salam will abolish the Jizya, implicating only that Islam is to only religion that will be accepted by him and the Lord... Furthermore, they are NO followers of Jesus nowadays, as all of them went astray by corrupting his teachings once upon a time and making him a Son of the Most High, and I seek refuge with Allah from this statement.... But Jesus wasn't Sent to Mankind, but to the Israelite. and he didn't Die. In Between we had Muhammad sallallahu alayhi wa sallam who was sent to Mandkind. but yet Jesus has to come back to his people. They have certainly disbelieved who say, " Allah is the Messiah, the son of Mary" while the Messiah has said, "O Children of Israel, worship Allah, my Lord and your Lord." Indeed, he who associates others with Allah - Allah has forbidden him Paradise, and his refuge is the Fire. And there are not for the wrongdoers any helpers (Q. 5:72)

With reference to the verse he quoted about the followers of Jesus, many mufassirin believed that the followers in question are those that were present during his time in ancient times who accepted Jesus as nothing more than a prophet and believed in the original and uncorrupted Torah. Many scholars also assert that when Isa a.s. returns he will be following the syariah of Muhammad not the old syariah of Musa. Remember Isa a.s. did not bring any new laws except to enforce the syariah of Musa a.s.. Just my humble two cents.

So when jesus comes to his followers who worship him, yes the orthodox christians also worship him, what is he going to say to them? That i am your lord or that I am a messenger of God. Is he going to corroborate that muhammad (pbuh) was the last and final messenger or God? If he does corroborate that fact he will become one of the ummah, won't he? It was Allah Most High who declared such in the Qur'an. All that I said is that I am a follower of Nabi Muhammad (sallalahu 'alaihi wa sallam), and hence I am not a follower of Jesus. Nor will I decide who are those followers of Jesus who will be raised to that position of dominance, and who will remain in that position of dominance until the end of the world. It is Allah Most High Who will decide. All that I have done is to point out that Orthodox Christian Russia is now the dominant power in the world and that the next world war would witness th end of the West as a powerful actor on the stage of the world. Ram Mohan Roy studied the Vedas and found therein One God. He went on to establish the Brahmo Samaj Movement in Hinduism. The duty of a scholar of the Qur'an is to locate such Truth in the Hindu scriptures and to gently direct the Hindu to the Truth that is already in his scriptures - and is also in the Qur'an. When he does that, it would facilitate eventual Hindu recognition of Truth in the Qur'an and also facilitate the consequent inevitable recognition of Prophet Muhammad as a Prophet of that One True God.
If a Hindu, Christian or Jew chooses to recognize Truth in the Qur'an, and to also recognize Prophet Muhammad as a Prophet of the One God, but chooses to remain identified as Hindu, Christian or Jew, and to follow a sacred law other than that revealed to the Prophet, it is Allah Most High Who will judge him - and not those who follow the Prophet. Just one comment here; in Holy Quran 3:55, God states that he will place the followers of Isa Ibn Maryam (AS) above all others that Reject faith. In my humble non-scholarly opinion, I think Muslims are now the true followers of Isa Ibn Maryam (AS), for the Original message, which was completed through Prophet Mohammad (SAW). In Holy Quran 5:72 and 5:73, God is very harsh on those who claim Trinity (the current so-called followers), and by no means are these placed above anyone else, in fact they should await a grievous penalty from God in the hereafter. Just saying that we should differentiate from the original blessed followers versus the current followers of Isa ibn Maryam (AS).

The followers of Jesus PBUH will be elevated until the end of the world, but who are they? As an ex-Christian, I don't see how they follow him. They worship him, but they don't follow his sunnah. Most Christians follow Paul. I'm Muslim because Jesus PBUH said to follow the Last Messenger, and I followed his command. So who are the followers of Jesus PBUH mentioned in the Qur'an?

In order to qualify as followers of Prophet Jesus, one must FOLLOW the TEACHINGS of Prophet Jesus as HE TAUGHT them:

(2) belief in PROPHET AHMED which Prophet Jesus announced (Quran 61:6)
(3) be COMPASSIONATE & MERCIFUL (Quran 57:27) - Monasticism DISQUALIFIES them as followers of Jesus since this is something which was INNOVATED, not TAUGHT by Jesus. A people can't be followers of a Prophet if they do not follow his teachings, believe in contrary teachings
(4) accept ALL PROPHETS that come and confirmed each other (Quran 3:81)
(5) believe and follow the UNLETTERED Prophet (Quran 7:157)
Etc. Etc. Etc.
ONLY MUSLIMS qualify, per the Quran, as followers of Prophet Jesus. Those who believe in Trinity and the Divinity of Jesus are called DISBELIEVERS (Quran 5:72-73), and are forbidden to enter Paradise (Quran 5:72). Followers of a Prophet are not DISBELIEVERS (polytheists) but BELIEVERS (monotheists). Christians are automatically disqualified as followers of Jesus, based on their beliefs.

My dear Maulana you must keep in mind that majority of those whom you're addressing have never heard Islam presented in this way so I don't think being upset with the common folk is that much warranted but rather the Ulema have failed miserably in ensuring that the Quran and the Arabic language used therein should be at the foremost of study for the layman so that we don't fall into the unfortunate camp of just following blindly and not thinking!
Also you must understand that the same way you urge us to not accept what you're saying until we exert ourself and believe it to be true is much easier said than done due to my point above of Not Understanding the Arabic language in the Quran and thus depending on people like yourself to offer an explanation because we cannot cross reference anything, so the normal person has to depend on you or those with knowledge to base our believe on and the normal person will conclude that this '' scholar etc must be right '' because he possess the Arabic language to read and understand the Quran and Hadith etc...
Let us not forget that on most subjects your view is completely different to what has been shoved down our throats by '' those who suppose have knowledge '' so again the normal person will have some reservation and might even be afraid to actually listen to what you're saying because again we've been conditioned to think a certain way.
I hope that Allah will forgive us for abandoning the Quran take us out of this hole that we've let ourselves fall into.....

The fact that Essa A.S. was sent to the Israelites doesn’t mean he cannot be the ruler of the Muslim ummah. After all he was a Prophet of Allah whose mission was not completed because Allah raised him up to Himself. The Sharia of the different Prophets were different but their mission was the same. Allah sent the Sharia which was appropriate for the people of that time. Since Rasul Allah s.a.w. is the last Prophet the Sharia he was sent with will remain till the end of time. Essa A.S. will rule according to that Sharia. There is nothing strange about Essa A.S. praying behind a Muslim imam.
If we believe Sheikhs interpretation of plurality of believers, in that there are two Ummah, one Ummah is the Ummah of Prophet Muhammad Pbuh and the other Ummah being the Ummah of Jesus pbuh, and that both are believers. Then know this that Quran was sent for all of mankind not just for Muslims, and every time in Quran Allah swt says “Oh You who have believe” or “Oh you who profess faith” followed by a command then its applicable to both Ummah. Any of the two Ummah failing to adhere to those commandments will be in violation of God’s law. And we know that’s not the case as the so called Ummah of Jesus doesn’t believe in Quran, forget about adhering to it! Secondly, Sheikh argues there is no evidence of abrogation (Naskh), the biggest proof of abrogation of previous faith is the coming of Prophet Muhammad pbuh himself, b/c Quran states that he was sent to All of Mankind, and that includes the Ummah of Jesus, last I check Ummah of Jesus were human beings and part of mankind. Which means that anyone from mankind after they come to know of the truth (Quran) that came with Prophet Muhammad pbuh and still doesn’t believe in it is in violation of God’s Law! And if he were to believe & adhere to it the plurality of Ummah will be non-existent. Secondly, when Jesus returns, he returns to a masjid in Demascus and runs into Muslim during Fajr time. Meaning when Allah swt returns him to earth first and foremost it is to a Masjid, if Allah swt so willed he could have returned him to a Cathedral and to his Ummah, but he is not going to do that. Jesus pbuh prays fajr according to the way of Prophet Muhammad pbuh b/c previous Sharia has been abrogated by Sharia of Muhammad pbuh, he doesnt lead the prayer b/c he is not send with any additional message, he is sent to break the cross and kill the swine as mentioned in hadith, which is symbolic to say he will abrogate his sharia for his ummah to follow the sharia of Muhammad pbuh, uniting into a single community of believers.

I do not agree with your opinion dear Sheikh, because the Quran says that Muhammed sal'Allahou alayhi wasallam was sent as a mercy to MANKIND, not to a certain tribe... Also the Prophet went on to say that Nabi 'Isa alayhi salam will abolish the Jizya, implicating only that Islam is to only religion that will be accepted by him and the Lord... Furthermore, they are NO followers of Jesus nowadays, as all of them went astray by corrupting his teachings once upon a time and making him a Son of the Most High, and I seek refuge with Allah from this statement.... Like Sheikh said. It is written in the Quran. There is your and my logic. and Allah's Logic and Mercy. i've heard Christian, saying " God is on his Throne " . and who understood Jesus was a Prophet. But Jesus wasn't Sent to Mankind, but to the Israelite. and he didn't Die. In Between we had Muhammad sallallahu alayhi wa sallam who was sent to Mandkind. but yet Jesus has to come back to his people. One doesn't Nullify the other one, Of course Muhammad sallallahu alayhi wa sallam is the Last one, so if you read the scriptures Hebrew Evengiles Torah Muhammad is mentioned by name ! , the logical sense would be to follow muhammad sallallahu alayhi wa sallam. but still they're ( Jesus alayhi wa sallam and Muhammad sallallahu alayhi wa sallam ) Both Mercy of Allah.
And Allah said, if he wanted so, we would've been one Oumma. But we're not. al Hamdulillah. Allah is the most high and Intelligent one.

You must realise the meaning of the term I am. And why the Jew's picked up the stones. So if Jesus is the word of GOD . Then those words he spoke must be GODS words. And a declaration by GOD of who CHRIST is.

They have certainly disbelieved who say, " Allah is the Messiah, the son of Mary" while the Messiah has said, "O Children of Israel, worship Allah, my Lord and your Lord." Indeed, he who associates others with Allah - Allah has forbidden him Paradise, and his refuge is the Fire. And there are not for the wrongdoers any helpers (Q. 5:72)

With reference to the verse he quoted about the followers of Jesus, many mufassirin believed that the followers in question are those that were present during his time in ancient times who accepted Jesus as nothing more than a prophet and believed in the original and uncorrupted Torah. Many scholars also assert that when Isa a.s. returns he will be following the syariah of Muhammad not the old syariah of Musa. Remember Isa a.s. did not bring any new laws except to enforce the syariah of Musa a.s.. Just my humble two cents.

Salaamou Alaikum Sheikh Imran can you explain to me how can you value so much the Greek Orthodox Christian doctrine when it is not any better than the other Christian doctrines? How can Chrstians to be in Harmony with Muslims we as humans can be friends can be in harmony in worldly things but when it comes to the Islamic principles and belief/ faith there is no way we to be in Harmony ! The only way is that all Greek Orthodox Christians to accept that prophet Muhammad is not a false prophet and didn't receive the Quran from Satan how they claim but is the last prophet who did the conclusion of Islam which started from Adam ALEYHI SALAAM . Orthodox Christianity started from the Greeks not from the Russians not from the Bulgarians nor from Serbians or Romanians. Can you explain to me please because i am a School boy ?
