I too want to be a Concept Artist, and watched your videos regarding about the Concept Art Diploma and things that came with it. I love it, it's very inspiring and helps me to actually conceptualize my goal. Regarding the studies - things your were satisfied or not with the program? stuff you would do differently -
like giving emphasis on certain subjects, or learning something on your own in advance?

Hi Shay, you're welcome. Is there anything in the video that would imply using USD? :-)
Regarding the studies' satisfaction, I cannot give you a resolution. I have a master's degree in art education, came from a country with a different education system, and I was older than the majority of the students. I am biased. Nothing is perfect. You might find some issues at every art school around the world.
However, the curriculum and my results were strong enough to make me employable, so that is positive. :)

Can we take this course online without having to go to Montreal? For example, if someone lives in Toronto. And there's still the pandemic

Do they provide the materials? Wacom tablets, photoshop programs, and computers?
Hi Stella, I answer this in my other videos. For the Diploma program yes, Syn Studio will provide you with everything you need to succeed. :-)

Well, you need someone with the spare money and then his/her trust. This is how it worked for millennia.
I want to be a concept artist in future so i was thinking of purchasing the online course for concept art on the syn studio website . What are your thoughts on this should i purchase these courses or not.

Hello. Thank you very much for your videos. They are precious to me because they come from someone who has been in the school. I applied to the Portfolio Review for the Concept Art Diploma and I have gotten an interview. Sincerely, I am nervous about that. It was hard to get one, and I hope to do it well. Anyway, although I don’t know if I will be accepted finally after the meeting, I am thinking what I should do if I have the opportunity to study there. Despite the pandemic, I would like to ask you if you consider the experience worth. I mean, it’s a huge amount of money, and I would spend the whole savings of my life if I do the program. I don’t want to realize in the future that all my effort were for nothing. I am full of doubts about living in Montreal, learning, relationships, networking, how difficult is to find job after finish... Syn Studio looks amazing and exciting, but I would like to be realistic beyond my dreams. I hope you read my comment because I am assessing all the possibilities. Thanks again.
Hi Jose, thanks for the comment. I understand your doubts. I don't know your socioeconomic background, age, level of stubbornness. For example, if you have to support your parents or feed your children, you might have different risk awareness than someone with no responsibilities coming from the middle class.
Was the experience worth it? I cannot answer this yet.
Ultimately, you cannot outsource your outcomes. In life, there are not good or bad decisions - they are just decisions.

Hi, I wonder if they allow procreate in the class, or photoshop is a must?
The school provided us with Photoshop, but half of my portfolio pieces I made in Procreate. Tools are just.. tools.

I'm 15 now and i'm going to be 25 when i'll be able to apply to SynStudio 😓

@@vmokry because i have to grow up, earn enough money and develop my skills 😅 and some extra things to do before moving to Canada. I hope nothing will change and i'll keep going to my goal
