Japanese Orchids, Azalea bushes, and What Is In the Future

Please visit us at: botanyboy.org/ Today’s video focuses on my garden here in Kyushu, southern Japan. In it you’ll see me repotting some Neofinetia falcata, a native Japanese orchid. I also will take you around the garden to see what what’s in flower now - another wild orchid, Dendrobium moniliforme, two deciduous azalea species, and Japanese ground orchids in the genus Calanthe.
I end the video with some comments about the channel and its future. With my humble beginnings in 2012, the Botany Boy channel has grown, and I’ve updated my gear. In 2017 I attempted to upload regularly, and become more “serious”. Viewer response was less than hoped, so now I’m thinking of changing direction a bit, towards a more vlog approach focusing on my garden.
