Cat thank you so much, yes it’s so fun and absorbing to play with paint. We couldn’t believe how green the woods still were ! that was Freddie’s little friend Molly we first met at the park cafe when Freddie was 8 weeks old ! Cat have a lovely creative week. Love the bubble wrap you put your hand into.....such fun to have an art puppet.....and if you want to ,,,, you could put moisturizer on your hand , insert it into the bubble wrap packing and have a day spa hand treatment while you create . Thank you for giving of your time and sharing your beautiful family and all the beautiful things you create as well as the relaxing atmosphere bringing such comfort

Janet, I knew you would rescue a book I made back in 2015 and was so inexperienced that I just couldn’t move forward. It was lovely to let it go and gift it to you and I am intrigued how it will turn out once you have covered it in wipe off paint. And now I have the honour of a book named after me. Who knew there would be a Barbara book in your house. I loved watching you making painty papers. And the tip of putting different texture on a ring was so helpful. At the moment my art space is in the corner of my kitchen, so I am often having to tidy up. The luxury of having a room where I can leave everything out still eludes me, but it I am still working on it!
Barbara thank you so much I am enjoying my Barbara book, it’s a journey I’m not sure either where it will lead ! It is a bit frustrating for you having to keep packing up and keeping tidy. Do hope you were able to get out today for you’re break.

Jovi thank you so much you’re words are so kind and encouraging. The postbox toppers are amazing ! they change them every season, it is different than last autumns. Someone puts so much work into it. It speaks of human kindness.

I've made some big (9x12) envelopes on the gel plate and WOW--they make great journal covers too, fold in half and insert signatures. I love "instant" journal making. lol (SUCH a lazy crafter I am).
Your woodland walk looks beautiful--soooo many leaves on the ground, yet the trees are still filled and green 🤔. Must be a Magic Forest ✨🌱🍂

Gail I just love the postbox toppers so much. The wind dries them a d they always look okay, it will be changed soon for Christmas. Touch wood they haven’t been vandalised yet 🧶

oh i forgot to mention about the furniture - love what you did - i still have the dresser that i did that to probably about 20 years ago now - 5 drawer dresser - i did every other drawer with torn paper and went over it with walnut varnish and the other two drawers and the dresser itself i painted black - ended up doing the lamp shade i kept on top of the dresser - it was fun to alter a white baby dresser into something so pretty!!! thanks for sharing xx

I paint envelopes for Happy Mail or pockets. But I did learn a lot of new techniques watching you. I definitely have to find some of that heart shaped bubble wrap. My neighbor took old pallets and has built a outdoor room and open space he bought one of those triangle covers it looks really cute❤️🐞🕉️

Love this idea...I was all set to experiment this morn with my new sewing machine and in the midst of getting thread on the bobbin I lose the bobbin cover for the machine. So I guess I could get my other sewing machine out and it give it ago...not sure tho. But while watching you I started looking for some security envelopes. I have some ready to experiment with. We shall see what direction I go LOL🤔🤔🤔

Daffodil 🌼 so lovely to see you, I thought of you this week I treated myself to new yellow paint !! I have just been enjoying the flowers so much.
I use them as painty papers for ephemera and also fold them back into envelopes for happy mail or junk journal pages, so they are so fun and versatile. Do hope you are managing to stay cool, sending love 💛
