I love how a lot of Bonnie McKee's demos for the album actually fit the idea of what a "Femme Fatale" is, as opposed to a lot of the songs that were chosen for the album
At 0:15 when she sings "Cause I solved that number and i’m checking out your alibi" it sounds exactly like If U Seek Amy "Is she in the bathroom, is she smoking up outside, oh". I love references 🤓
Bonnie really had her head in the right space when writing for this album. Great work on her part. Still feel like femme fatale is a strange title. After listening to these demos FF feels like a mixtape rather than a cohesive album. Still love it.
Because FF basically was a mixtape. A bunch of demos from different writers. That’s usually how Britney albums are because of how political it was and she had no creative control until Glory.
I thought it was just a bunch of demos with a common theme submitted by artists and producers? Not a camp where songs were written in a short amount of time for the album?
