You should get a $35 tyre puncture repair kit. Don't know how exactly you punctured your tyre, but it looked similar to a puncture I had on my BFGs. I was able to repair it using the plugs that came with my tyre puncture repair kit, and didn't even have to remove the tyre from the vehicle. I was able to drive home (500+ kms) on it with no dramas.
Yeah I have one of those. Puncture looked pretty large, over the 5mm they recommend not going over for repairs. If I was out and didn’t have an extra spare I would prolly plug it as you did ;)
Hi nice video never been to Cooper Pedy was supposed to but never got there, diverted to Alice Springs and surrounding environments for 4 months must admit it was the coldest place I have ever camped mostly in tents but sometimes just swags -8C overnight lots of frost and even ice on the water-but Couldn’t do the underground severely claustrophobic. Good to see you were driving on the wrong side of the road one of the best tips when driving on the corrugation. Stay safe Cheers.
Yeah was definitely an interesting place to visit that’s for sure. The underground rooms were very comfy and great. Yeah we’ve had a few cold nights but nothing that extreme, went down to 4 in Uluru for us. Yeah it’s almost a must on some of these roads, specially since there’s rarely anyone else coming, and if they are you can see there dust tail kms away
Historical correction needed... the old Ghan never went to Darwin, only Alice Springs. In the outback you have to talk with your teeth clenched so you don’t eat the flies.
We’ve been to Coober Pedy and camped at the place on the border where you finished up this video. It was almost full the night we were there. I’m enjoying all of your travels including seeing places we can’t get to in our 2WD Campervan. The camels with the person leading them, do you know the background?
That’s awesome! Yeah we wanted the troop to get to those hard to reach places! Yeah Funny you ask, two days after we saw her I saw a guardian article about her. She’s is walking from WA to Byron. www.theguardian.com/australia-news/gallery/2021/may/26/outback-camel-trek-one-womans-5000km-journey-across-australia
Great video.... Loved the sunset.... Just not the flies 😊👍🏻
Agree haha
Excellent video
Thanks!
