I had the privilege of sitting right behind Familyman's Ampeg, a few feet away from Aston Barrett drum riser. Talking about the ultimate Reggae Riddim section lesson!

No not from scratch, thats Carly style , The Barrets , wrap style around any Vocalist with a precision exclusive to their earing, like knibbs and brevet of the skatalites, sly and robbie, Santa and Fulwood, style scot and flabba , each outfit plays the sound of their decade and before, perrys influence was vocal projection.
The Hippie Boys was a very appropriate name for Aston and Carly as is the soul ,jazz ,ska and funk feel they mastered.

Merci Patrick ! Kinda Koool cette vid !!! En plus du groove "à la source" ... c'est super de voir comment Aston gère les divers sons de rim shots et comment il articule ses breaks. Sans parler, du réglage de la caisse et de la hauteur à laquelle il la perche !!! Au moins, il peut rester des plombes en cross stick sans se "bend over Jr !" 😁
