Good morning Dom and family 🙏... it's early Thursday morning and I'm chilling before going down stairs to take my turkey out the fridge... wanted to wish you and the family a wonderful and blessed thanksgiving 💗...
Dom when I made my first turkey many many moons ago, I missed the giblet bag too. It was in the neck cavity area and as well as I cleaned the turkey, I was so surprised!! I even ran water through from one end to the other and it never fell out. 🤷🏽♀️ I used to do a wet brine but around 7-8 years ago, I discovered dry brine and never looked back! It sits with the brine on for 4 days in the fridge. 3 days inside a brine bag + 1 day in the uncovered. That last day is to let the skin dry, which ensures crispy turkey skin.
Thanks for sharing! The turkey looked delicious! I saw your dehydrator on your counter... where did you purchase it? Exactly which one do you have? Thanks❤️
