@@ReelFilm2016 Depends which 'town' you are referring to. For Lowestoft town centre, it probably won't make much difference. It's Oulton Broad where the most difference will be seen, I hope. Also, might even make a difference at the St. Olaves crossing. I no longer live in Lowestoft, but do travel back a few times a year to visit family, and I have to decide from many miles back which route I will take. I expect many other drivers of cars and freight will also benefit. I do hope they get around to opening it soon - it looks like it's been finished for ages from everything I can see.
How are you finding the Panasonic HC-VXF990EB ? I am still looking at buying one. I got a Sony LV-E10 and I m not impressed at all with it. Very noisy zoom in video and the image quality is not good either. My action camera is better. This footage of te bridge looks way better
@@JohnonaBike I have no plans to sell the camera at present. Whilst some aren’t happy about it only being able to shot at 25fps, the image quality is great. I will only use this camera on a tripod, so I think it’s great. Also, and I am sure you know this, but when you watch the above video, if you hit the little cog, you can check what video quality is streaming. To get the best image possible, change it to 2160. 😀
@@ReelFilm2016 Thanks for the tip on the quality of the youtube video. I did know that but I always forget so its looks even better now. Very impressive image for a camera from 8 years ago (the technology that is as the camera is still on amzon) I have just ordered one from CEX so looking forward to trying it. As I said I got the Sony as it got GREAT reviews but no mention of the noisy zoom. I commented on one video saying that and the guy said "Most video makers don't zoom when recording " 😮🤔🤣 I did look at the slightly newer (by 2 years) Panasonic HC-VX1 but I did not like the image as much and some said the same online. Plus it has a slightly smaller sensor but with slightly bigger photosites.
@@ReelFilm2016 I will and thanks for your help 😁 Forgot to say you mention about the 25 frames but a Lot of cameras even new ones brag about 24 frames as its like the hollywood movies so maybe this camera is ahead of its time 😁
Not sure I'd make the nazi connection. Most concrete defensive structures look heavier set than that, and the nazi structures in the channel islands were predominantly curved to deflect incoming fire. Its not a very elegant structure, they could have designed it with a bit more grace.
And as for the design of that control tower, all slotted windows and blank slab walls, you know what I'm going to say now, don't you? Bit too reminiscent of the Nazi watch towers and gun emplacements on the Channel Islands for my liking.
Impressive bridge wow looks like they got some competition up the road at Yarmouth 😊
It's pretty impressive to look at but whether it solves congestion issues in the town will be the big question.

Let me know how you get on with the camera. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

@@JohnonaBike Yes, that’s exactly right. There is nothing wrong with 24fps.
It’s a solid little unit
Have you put a pound coin under the balance arms yet and seen what happens to it yet‽
You would hope so 😀
Who is paying for that, buddy?
I like it, but it looks expensive.😂
I decided to pay for it. Had just about enough.
UK taxpayers
